Connection using the WiFi at work is perfect. Still using phone.

Also only able to connect with cellular data.

Liberty's Edge

I'm on using my work computer, but home network was not reaching Paizo.com

Pathfinder Lost Omens Subscriber

Cellular phone only here as well

Same here - phone access but naught else (work or home computers are nixed)

Scarab Sages

I'm also only able to get in via Safari mobile. Chrome and IE just spin until the connection times out. This is verified on more than one computer and more than one ISP.

I'm in Germany, and multiple times over the last week I've had the webpage totally unable to load.

Grand Lodge Director of Technology

I've got some Goblins looking into the issue. Can you guys and gals please give it a try and let me know if everything is up and running

Thanks
Dean

Whatever your Goblins did seems to have worked... for me at least. I can visit all parts of the site now, rather than just the https parts.

Hooray! I'm finally back on. :)

I can't use a phone at work, so when I can't connect with my computer I can't connect, and my ability to connect over the past five or so days has been sporadic at best. Like DeathQuaker, whenever I see my browser spinning longer than I know it should, I check isitdownrightnow.com, and just about every time, they confirm that the server is unable to be reached. @Dean Ludwig, hopefully your tech goblins are capable of finding out the real issue and getting it permanently fixed. :)

Thanks!

I'm in Germany, as well. In Chromium 58.0.3029.110, the message boards take currently ages to load. I've got no problems in Opera 45 and Firefox 53.0.3.

I don't want to flog a dead horse, but I'll add that for several stretches of time over the past week or so I've been unable to reach the site by any means - home ISP, work ISP, phone wifi, phone data. I'm in New York state.

Since no one else has detailed my exact problem I will add it into this thread.

Since Thursday I've been able to acces the main messageboards page with no problems. However when I try to open a particular subforum or thread it's a complete crapshoot as to whether or not it will work. I'll click on one and it just will not open. Sit and try to load forever. Though it does mark that thread as read. But the one right below it will be fine. Retrying doesn't help immediately or for a stretch of time but some hours (or days) later I retry once again and the thread will load. For a while at least. Then it stops again. Tried on multiple iOS devices and Chrome. It's the same threads on each one for a given time period but other than that I can't discern a pattern.

Tried to post this Friday and Sunday but I couldn't open the Website Feedback subforum to post.

Seems to be OK right now. We shall see.

While "software this and software that" can fix a lot of problems, may I suggest taking a good look at the hardwares, making sure they aren't turning into boxes of dust and/or spiders nests, making sure the room(s) is clean and airy enough, etc...

Everything seems to be working for me right now (http and https, all ISPs).

The main message board page is https (https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/messageboards). But once you go into a thread, you leave the secure site (https) and view an http (no "s") page. The issue as I've experienced it is that I can view https pages, but not http pages. So, I can see the message board, but not open any threads (depending on my ISP). That sounds like what you are probably having as well.

Not exactly. At some point in time I can view threads A and B but not thread C. A few hours later I can finally access thread C but then I can't see B. (A is still fine.)

It's not all threads, just some. (With no patten I could discern.)

My 2 cents. I couldn't get on with either internet or phone.

Yep, couldn't access on my laptop and isitdownrightnow reported the server was inaccessible. Loaded right up on my phone.

The light dawns about why I have had no trouble getting in. I always come through on Mobile... I do almost everything on iPad.

Hmm

For me - just now - tried going to my www.paizo.com link - website flashed briefly like it was about to load, then switched to static3.paizo.com - and started spinning it's wheels. Latest version of Chrome being used.

Hit the stop loading and refreshed, this time, www.paizo.com loaded without issue.

Just putting that out there in case it's of help.

New attempt - hit static4.paizo.com and it loaded almost instantly. Good performance/speed.

This is what I was experiencing as well. HTTPS works, Http does not.

Yeah it wasn't working at all yesterday for me on mobile data and on ISP wifi.
I followed a link to today's blogpost this morning and it works fine again (though I assume correlation instead of causation).

Gerald... Are you still having problems with the site?

Not as of this evening. But I've only had intermittent access over the last few days.

Thanks to those above for the tip about using a phone. I would've just assumed that if my computer didn't work the phone would have no chance.

Even my cell phone was not working until late today! All good now though.

I am very worried for the start of the Cosmic Captive PbP Special on June 9th. I have serveral GMs who are still having trouble logging on to the site, not to mention players.

Is there any news at all?

Hmm

Having some trouble this morning. Site is really slow.

Just had the same https/http problem for about 10 minutes. Everything normal now.

Some of you might want to check this thread as well. :)

I've had some intermittent problems this morning that fit what others are saying happens to them.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Rulebook, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Ditto.

Yep, same here again. Can't get in sporadically, with, on my end anyway, zero rhyme or reason.

Experiencing the same problem again. Only able to access https pages, http won't load on my home ISP. Mobile ISP functions normally.

I have been unable to access the site for the last several hours (at least) via my laptop.

Can get on using my cell.

Same. Phone works fine, pc can't access.

Dark Archive

I'm in California. Site loaded without difficulty last night. Won't load at all today if I use wifi (Comcast). Only Sprint 3G data seems to work.

Just in case I flushed DNS and cache on laotop, no luck though.

I think the goblins want full HTTPS

Same experience as everyone above, can't access site unless by phone.

Frustratingly back to how it was a week or so ago.

My T-Mobile Hotspot works. So will, I suppose, any phone that can generate a hotspot, or a phone that can be used as a modem.

Try "tracert.exe" to paizo.com on a PC that can't access the site.

Augh, can only access via cellular now. What's changed?

Can get online via phone, not PC.

Same issue again still as of Monday morning. Could get on Sunday afternoon on my PC, by evening no access.

Maybe this is a clever way to keep trolls from s&%%posting on the weekend tho.

Regarding the current connection problem, is anyone using a PC that is unable to connect using a Proxy Server? Various websites suggest this as a remedy.

Same issue with me last night and today. Wi-Fi at home and work (both Spectrum-formerly Comcast) won't connect to paizo at all, but phone data works fine.

Ugh, stuck using phone is very irritating and will soon get expensive. :/
