Thanks. Sorry if I am being a little dense right now.

As these are pickup games and not officially offered by GenCon, there will be no tickets.

Didn't James just say he was ticketing through GenCon?

Gencon should be able to allocate space Wed for the games, so I'm making Gencon events $0 tickets for Wed. I'll post when they get published for you guys. But you should be able to find them by searching for Risner on wed games. This way I don't need to worry about sourcing and securing space for two days, just for Sunday.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Missed that. Looks like the Wednesday games will require tickets but the Sunday games won't?

Not sure if this is for a closed circle or open to everyone, but I'd love to participate on Wednesday in any capacity. :-) [Flight gets in at 1:30 so probably just the evening unless I get a fast shuttle]

The Wednesday games being dicussed here are looking to kick off around 6 or 7 pm, depending on when the VC and higher go to their dinner.

Until then, may of us will be helping to setup the room.

Dark Archive 4/5

Wednesday has a 2pm gamr as well.

Since I was advised finding space Wed would be more difficult than Sunday, I'm using Gencon's recommended way to handle space Wed. $0 tickets from GenCon.

We will do Warhorn for Sunday, and I'll only need to track down and secure space for one day and one session. Less stress on me.

TL;DR
Wed 2pm and 7pm will be Gencon $0 tickets.
Sun 7pm will be Warhorn and I'll find us a space like the previous years.

Not closed, this is open to everyone.

So how do we get GenCon 0$ tickets?

For some reason it hasn't been showing me the events?

Grand Lodge 4/5

The games need to be entered into the system first. No need to waste generics on this.

Oh I am very interested in squeezing a game in at 2PM wesnesday as the scottys slot is just a BIT too early.

The Exchange 4/5 Owner - D20 Hobbies

They haven’t been approved or assigned yet. I’ll post here when they go live.
If you want to GM I’ll tag you next to the ones on Wed as GM.

The Exchange 4/5 Owner - D20 Hobbies

Sorry this is confusing.
All coordination will be here, gencon tickets (when live) will be for play only. I don’t expect there to be an issue with everyone in her playing the ones you want, as I’ll do my best to notifications you all asap they are posted by gencon.

The Sunday stuff will go live as soon as my warhorn event is approved. None of that will be on gencon.

The Exchange 4/5 Owner - D20 Hobbies

Also, just to make it clear. I'm not trying to replace scotty's. I love what they are doing. I just can't get high level games going there, and I've failed at getting into tables every year I've tried since the first year I played there like 5 years ago.

James,

I don't think anyone is accusing you of trying to replace Scotties. I'm going for breakfast Wednesday, however the offerings at Scotties arent engaging this year, which is why I asked for 8-20 and 8-25 for your event, so thanks for making it happen!

Hey all,

I've been lurking in your thread watching as these develop. Do you have all the GMing scheduled for the Wednesday 7pm stuff? I searched through and didn't see anything about it, but I might've missed it because I just used Ctrl+F and flipped through the page quick while at work.

Ryan, I don't believe all the GM spots have filed. If you would like to toss your hat in the ring, go for it. James will be doing the final coordination of the GMs.

The Exchange 4/5 Owner - D20 Hobbies

+1 GM not all been "sourced/assigned". If you can help, I'll be sorting that out next.

BTW, it has been noticed by GenCon forum folks that the PFS games have been added to Wednesday. If there is a slot you want, best to get it ASAP.

Also, if you can help GM these please send me a PM and I'll note you down as GM of the slots. I'll also get you a GM packet with the handouts, the reporting slips, etc the day of the events.

Do you need anything else from me, James?

Also... Will anyone have a hex map with them that I can borrow to draw the first map of Iron Bound Schism upon? I am traveling on the plane, and was not planning on bringing my medium Chessex map with me, largely because I don't think it would fit in the suitcase, and I only want to travel with one piece of luggage on the plane.

Hmm

Grand Lodge 4/5

Cyzzane printed the maps for it when she was going to run it, I believe. They mostly fit in a standard folder, so I can bring them. Will doublecheck our scenario storage.

Okay, I made my intelligence check, and found the Warhorn Link.

I have now signed up to GM, and found at my table TOZ and Wei Ji. TOZ, if you have them, I will happily borrow printouts of the maps of Ironbound Schism. I think I can get hold of Giant Lairs, but if you have printouts, that would be awesome.

Are we going high or low tier? And do you realize that my brain may be gone?

Also thanks to all who say they'll be bringing Chessex maps. I will have my markers with, and may borrow, though any maps drawn will not be to my normal standards.

I have faith that you will be able to do just fine. I ran Kortos Envoy for BNW and TetsujiniOni from 11pm to IDK on last GenCon's Sunday night, and that was without maps even.

As to tier, I have a number of 10s, but fewer 7-8s. Hopefully we can premuster the table for you.

I'm not sure who if anyone I'll have in range at that point, we'll play it by ear. Also willing to play up depending on circumstances.

Also, I was at the 'table' that Steven mentions (it was more a coffee table in a lounge area, if memory serves) and it was actually kind of a good thing we didn't have maps.

Did anyone actually request 6-03 Beacon Below, or was that just James' guess as to something people would want? No one seems to be racing to sign up for it.

Alternatively, I could easily run my favorite level 7-11, 2-12 Below the Silver Tarn, if more people would be interested in that golden oldie.
