How large an object necessary for Telekinetic Blast?

Rules Questions

Telekinetic blast states: "You throw a nearby unattended object at a single foe as a ranged attack. The object must weigh no more than 5 pounds per kineticist level you possess. If the attack hits, the target and the thrown object each take the blast’s damage. Since the object is enfolded in strands of aether, even if you use this power on a magic weapon or other unusual object, the attack doesn’t use any of the magic weapon’s bonuses or effects; it simply deals your blast damage."

As I understand it, the blast does the same damage regardless of the size of the object. So how large must the object be? Can it be a sling bullet? I ask because the aether kineticist does not want to run out of ammunition.

I have asked a bunch of PFS GMs when I play my telekineticist, to which they have all responded there is no technical minimum. As such, when I run out of crossbows to throw, I usually cut people's heads off with dust motes and the like. I think you should be able to see the object for it to qualify. That and the fact that I'm not as awful a person as I could be is why I don't throw individual molecules of stuff at people for 4d6+13 damage.

There is no technical minimum, you're right, and that is exactly why I carry a pouch with some iron/steel bearings in it, just in case the GM decides to put me in a 'clean room'. IIRC, they have hardness 10 and 30 HP so at lower levels I can reuse them multiple times if I must. Otherwise, I just fill the pouch with loose pebbles and sand. As a quick action, I drop the object, and then with my standard action I obliterate my opponent :)

I also agree that for an object to count one must be able to see it. Does dust on a shelf count? That's a GM's call, but I'd allow it and so far I haven't had any push back on it. Then again, I don't play PFS so the rules may be different.

Keeping in mind that drawing ammunition is a no action and dropping something is a free action, so feel free to carry some shuriken or arrows or something.
