what minies to use in Star finder

General Discussion

I would like to know what kind/make of miniatures you guys are planing on useing for starfinder. Assuming that the game is a 28mm based just like pathfinder, thanks.

Reaper's Chronoscape series has tons of sci-fi, sci-pulp, steampunk, wildwest etc. They should be able to meet your needs for most character types with their already existing products. Soda Pop Miniatures will be producing all of their licensed Starfinder Minis and they look pretty good from the concept art we have seen. Ship minis is where i think i will have the most fun. i have a lot of ships from Firestorm Aramada that should work as well as a few odds and ends from miniature models and such. i also happen to have a lot of star wars micro machines from the current run and have no qualms about kit bashing them together to make new ships. I might pick up some of the planetfall ship minis too so i feel like i will be well prepared to run ship encounters at least.

I've a fair number of Ground Zero Games figures and vehicles already, so those make a good starter. Probably some of the SVfM figures will work too. A lot depends on what exactly I feel like playing, and how well the rules seem to handle it.

I'm going to be using these.

I'm hoping they release reasonably close to starfinder's debut.

I have a bunch of old Star Wars Minis from when it was a d20 wargame. Lots of Clone Troopers make for armed mooks to shoot. I may use Fantasy minis for smaller creatures like Goblins until I find some satisfactory sci fi gobs.

I've been making custom figures, but that'll get mixes in with Shadowrun, Star Wars, Reaper sci-fi, and a bunch of other stuff I've picked up over the years.
