Hello everyone!

It’s April Fools Day! While it is traditional to try to prank someone today, I tend to shy away from that. It’s too easy for pranks to either be lame or mean. Instead, I like to be silly! In that spirit, allow me to present to you Pathfinder Society Scenario* #8-i: Paizo Unchained!

*Not actually a legal Pathfinder Society Scenario. Feel free to play it for fun, but it is not actually part of the PFS campaign.

Ha! Jen, this is hilarious!

I'm now wondering if we should play it on the train to Paizo Con... The only thing missing is Compton!

Hmm

VERY nice scenario, but 2 small things:

1.) Where is the chronicle for it?
2.) On the cover there should be an indication that this is subtier 5-9.

I am very disappointed with this!

Spoiler:
Why does Stephen not have "pig" as a ranged weapon??

Just glad Nicolas Logue don´t work at Paizo´s office. It would be a too scary encounter.

I regret that I have but one like to give for this post.

WHO IS RUNNING THIS AT PAIZOCON AND HOW CAN I PLAY???

Alternately, I could run it if several of the Paizo staff want to be players. :-D

The best is Mark's NPC. This brought a smile to my face.

Jen, this is amazing!

Seriously, what would it take to put together a charity auction for one seat as a player at a table of the named characters/staff at Paizo Con?

Would Tonya stand alongside the table Performing (Oratory)?

The reporting notes definitely sealed the deal here. Great work!

Well, if someone wanted to play this at Paizocon, they'd need to find someone else to run it, since going to Paizocon isn't that feasible for me.

Rei:
Ah, how could I forget to include the pig as a ranged attack? Let me add those in here.
In subtier 5-6, use: Ranged pig +2 (1d6+2)
In subtier 5-6, use: Ranged pig +5 (1d6+2)

Stephen is not very accurate with the pig, but let's be honest, he's not kicking the pig because he's trying to be accurate. ;)

Oh wow I'd pay serious money to be a part of that!

This scenario is almost screaming for LARP at PaizoCon. >.>

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that sidebar, Jen. Thank you. That was a really neat moment in a very funny read.

This should be a on-site LARP with "as themselves" actors for NPCs at PaizoCon....

(Especially when John plays both Aram Zey and himself.)

Seriously though, has anyone put this in to the event submissions yet? Because it really needs to happen, and I would definitely play.

Sam P - which sidebar are you talking about? I feel like i should know which one you mean but I'm being dumb and can't figure it out. (There's multiple potentially funny sidebars. Or at least snarky.)

Can us poor midwesterners get a slot run at GenCon?

[snark]I'm hurt, Jen. Wounded, even. Someone get me a cleric. I think I'm taking ongoing bleed damage.

The sidebar on page 9 is practically lifted straight out of our discussion at TotalCon. Here I was, looking back fondly on our time batting gamemastering tips back and forth, but apparently it was all one-sided: just a mere four-star GM getting the privilege to sit for a moment at the cool kids' table, before getting patted on the head and told to run along.

It's OK, though. Better that I find out now.[\snark]

Oh, right. I have now attached face to name.

Yes, it blatantly came from that discussion. I was replaying it in my head when I was writing it because it really was the best response to non futuristic technology in a PFS Scebario.
