I would like a little clarification please if possible. Since I subbed to 4 Starfinder products I am a Superscriber which entitles me to the Paizo Advantage program which includes 15% off. But I will not receive the advantage until after my first order ships?!? Which I guess luckily for Paizo is top heavy with 8 products. Not to mention picking Cheapest Delivery cost is going to cost me another $97.51 for shipping just outside of Toronto. Canada.

As a guy from Montreal, Quebec, I'm sad that there are no monetary benefit, due to the exchange rate and shipping for the Rulebook, Accessories and AP subscription. Since I'm in a town where they are a lot of gaming stores, I will go with one of the local store.
But, I may subscribe to the Starfinder Society scenario.

I believe it will apply to that first order. It just won't affect any orders you get shipped to you between now and August.

Yeah when factoring the exchange rate my initial order is $379 CDN (including shipping). I will cancel my subs and do the same as you and just go with the Scenario Subscription.

I don't know if I'm allowed to say this here but it's sooo much cheaper to do this via amazon.ca for Canadians!
I'm pretty sure you don't get the pdfs though which is a huge bummer. I might just pick up the pdfs. I'd love to start a collection, but digital is so much more convenient in every way.
The questions you have to ask are: (1)Is it cheaper to get them on Amazon.ca and then pay for the pdfs separately, and (2) are the few extra days you get to look at the pdfs before the release day when Paizo ships them to you worth whatever money you would be saving to do (1) of enough value to be worth the extra expense and (3) if it's not saving you enough money to afford the pdfs (which you want) and killing you to wait for the release date of the pdfs, why would you not give that money directly to Paizo to help them expand the line and keep making the stuff you're interested in? Especially given their statements in the past about how subscriptions inform their future planning?

You are allowed to say it. Paizo make their stuff available through many different distribution channels and they have said many times that customers should choose whichever works best for them.
Especially for those of us overseas, there's nearly always a cheaper way to get the hardcopy. That's even true if you live in the US, I believe since some sellers get super deals or are even prepared to lose on shipping (the free PDF Paizo offer with subscription is partly intended to compensate that added cost of shipping).
It's worth noting the risk that you'll probably miss the release date from time to time if you opt to buy through amazon. My impression is that things have improved, but there have definitely been times over the last few years when amazon hasn't shipped pathfinder books until several weeks after they have been available here.

Am I the only one who's fuzzy on how it all works? Do I need to add the products I don't "start with" to my cart? Where will the option be to pick everything up at GenCon? I'll always just be charged whenever a product is released? Is there a schedule that will let me know when that will happen? I did read the FAQ, but don't feel it answered these questions.
EDIT: Also, why are all the SFS materials PDF?

If you add a subscription any product in that line will be shipped to you without any further effort on your part (beyond paying for them). Your sidecart is for things not included in your subscriptions.
If you want everything, you can add the four Starfinder subscriptions other than the SFSociety one (which you'll be treated as having anyway) and then sit back and wait. :)
Where will the option be to pick everything up at GenCon?
After the July subscription run they'll make this option available. Subscribers will get a few email warnings about it when it goes live.
I'll always just be charged whenever a product is released?
Yep. Generally a couple of weeks before streetdate.
Is there a schedule that will let me know when that will happen?
It varies a little but usually it's around the tenth of each month. On a Thursday (I think) they'll send an email saying "we're about to ship you the <following products>, to <this address> by <this shipping method> and it will cost <the following amount>".
You'll have a few days to respond in case something is amiss and they typically start shipping on the following Monday (a process which takes a couple of weeks to complete so it can be quite some time between the first email and actual shipment.

Once you've set up any subscriptions, the customer service forum is the best place to post queries or to request changes. Paizo CS are really helpful and responsive.
If things ever change it's easy and painless to make adjustments or to cancel some subscriptions.

Can confirm, Paizo CS are like the cuddliest and most efficient carebears ever.

Wow, thanks, Steve! One more question, or clarification, more like: If I order now, I will be able to opt to pick stuff up at the Con later, yes? Or should I wait until that option "goes live?" I suppose this also falls under that cuddly carebear thing, though...
Yeah that's right.
If you order the subscription now not much will actually happen until August. That's when the order will automatically generate all the goodies for you.
The "pick up my August subscriptions at GenCon" option will become available in mid to late July, I suspect. You'll then have a week or two to select that option and they'll take your stuff with them there rather than shipping it to your house. :)
