So I saw an old thread on star knife flying blades and thought with some of the feats that have come out since, I'd take a crack at the concept again.
Race- Aasimar (azata-blooded, aazimar ability +2 cha)
Abilities (20 pt build)
Str-10
Dex-16 (14+2)
Con-12
Int-10
Wis-10
Cha-21 (17+4)
Level/feats/ability progression (all levels in swashbuckler flying blade)
1. Divine Fighting Tech (Desna)
2.
3. Point Blank Shot
4. Weapon Focus Starknife(bonus feat),+1 chr
5. Startoss Style
6.
7. Startoss Comet
8. Startoss Shower, +1 dex
9. Quick Draw
10.
11. Rapid Shot (needed for Adv Prereq of Divine Fighting Tech)
I haven't given much thought to after level 11. Precise Shot would definitely be useful. Weapon Specialization is also a possibility.
As to magic items, a blinkback belt is necessary. Having charisma as you attack/damage stat means you don't need a strength/dex belt. So get a headband of alluring charisma. Other than that, grab a decent starknife and the usual gear.
I have considered a small fighter dip to get Precise Shot and Quick Draw earlier. However, since all of the bonuses except Point Blank Shot apply to melee as well as ranged attacks, you can close to get multiple attacks and avoid the throwing into melee penalty. Don't forget about the Disrupting Counter Deed should you find yourself in melee.
As always, any suggestions would be appreciated...

Ask your GM if Flying Blade Training counts as the weapon training class feature for Ricochet Toss. Otherwise, pick up Martial Focus in the Thrown fighter weapon group.
That way, you can use the belt slot for something else.

Signature Deed (Disrupting Counter) might be nice for higher levels.
So assuming the thread on Grit=Panache thread in rules questions is correct and you can actually use Signature Deed on this, you could recast the build as a melee build, grab Combat Reflexes, and give the Come Get Me Barbarian a run for his money...
Who would have thought a flying blade would make such an excellent melee build.
WOW!

Well, Signature Deed only reduces the panache cost once per round.
Ah, yeah, they nerved that, too. Because of course, the poor caster's cant keep up with pure martials making the, like, three deeds that don't utterly suck better when they only have access to such weak feats as Sacred Geometry.

Unless you are set on using Charisma for everything, star knife is terrible for flying blade. Because of the crit range, and getting back panache on crits compared to a dagger.
I've recommended dagger, and dipping 2 levels of far strike monk for this type of build in the past.
Far strike monk gets you 3 useful feats (4 if you count flurry as psuedo rapid shot, and not counting improved unarmed strike), evasion (earlier then 11), and 3 to all saves at the cost of 1 BAB (when not flurrying), and moving your ability scores around. Or just 3 feats and 3 to saves without losing the ability to wear armor.

Dip 1 level of bard and take Divine Fighting Style: Desna

The neat thing about flying blade is that it can make a good range or melee build. The charisma to starknife is a good feat but requires worshiping a specific god. The issue with a range character, especially one who uses thrown weapons is that all your feats are taken. That's not too big an issue since you get bonus feats though.
I prefer it as a counter melee build myself.
If you really want CHA to damage and attk, grab Divine Fighting Technique at level 1 and Weapon Focus at 3.
feats
1: Weapon Focus (Starknife)
3: Starry Grace
4: Combat Reflexes
5: Weapon Trick (One handed weapon trick)
7: Stylish Riposte (Not sure if Weapon Trick opens up the feat, or lets you select when you have pre-reqs, if someone could clarify for me I would appreciate it.)
8:
9:
11: Signature Deed (Disrupting Counter)
Grab a Fortuitous and hack away at your enemies before they can even touch you. Bonus points for picking up Swordmaster's Flair (Blue Ribbon) and really dicing up enemies. My GM hated this character =/

Weapon Trick unlocks every weapon trick that you qualify for. So at BAB+6, you get both Stylish Riposte and Free Hand Maneuver. If you have a buckler strapped on your off-hand arm, you might (depending on your skills) also qualify for Confounding Shield and/or Shielded View.
To make a rule question on my own, am I reading that correctly that a Flyign Blade can use Disrupting Counter and Opportune Parry and Riposte against the same attack? The later isn't an actual AoO and thus the "only one AoO per trigger" ruly shouldn't apply.

Thats how i understand it from looking at the archetype a while back. you cant disrupting counter, give them a penalty to hit you, parry against their debuffed roll and counter attack them for it if you are willing to spend the panache to pull it off.
