hello everyone soon im going to play in an eberron setting (still pathfinder rules) and i have hopes to make a goblin for it. i'm not sure what the others are playing but i want to make the goblin a front line bruiser (tank/damage). all the books are open except the psionics.
i would prefer to keep him around the fighter style (fighter ranger brawler) instead of barbarians and paladins. so any advice or recommendations?

Do you know the setting lore about the Lost Empire of Dhakaan? (Read the Legacy of Dhakaan trilogy by Don Bassingthwaite!)
Goblin or goblinoid? Goblins are/were the ninja clans of Dhakaan. Being small a front liner bruiser role is a bit hard for them and not typical but certainly doable. Maybe Slayer?
Or a hobgoblin Samurai !

Goblins make great Swashbucklers. Now - Swashbucklers have saves issues (low Fort & Will), but if you can deal with that they're pretty solid, and some of the new archetypes help with making their saves better. (Plus Mouser is fun for small characters.)
A 2 level dip into paladin (adding a total of 6ish to Fort/Will) after the first 3-4 in Swashbuckler, combined with such an archetype would make them solid on the saves front. (though you'd be slowing down Swashbuckler stuff)
