Question Regarding Teamwork Feat - Pack Flanking

Rules Questions

How in the world would an Animal Companion ever meet the pre-reqs for this Teamwork Feat? I was hoping to pick this up on my Mad Dog Barbarian but it looks next to impossible.

Pack Flanking (Teamwork)

You and your companion creature are adept at fighting together against foes.

Prerequisites: Int 13, Combat Expertise, ability to acquire an animal companion.

Benefit: When you and your companion creature have this feat, your companion creature is adjacent to you or sharing your square, and you both threaten the same opponent, you are both considered to be flanking that opponent, regardless of your actual positioning.

Normal: You must be positioned opposite an ally to flank an opponent.

Typically, the class for which this feat is designed has some sort of class ability that transfers teamwork feats onto their animal companions without the need to qualify for the feat itself.

There are a couple classes that grant any teamwork feats they possess to their companion, regardless of prerequisites. That is the easiest way to do it.

Hunter and the Sacred Huntmaster (Inquisitor Archetype) are the two that are most prominent.

Thanks for the speedy response. Moving on to a different tactic as this will not be feasible.

Don't be so hasty to throw away your character friend...

Pack Tactics has you covered! Or at least half of it.

It may help fulfill your idea. That or I would recommend a Dip.
