I have a move action to acrobatics, a swift attack, and I want to make a standard action attack. I'm hoping that I can get the canny tumble to be on the standard attack and not the swift but I'm not sure if I could do that. Can I do this sequence and get the canny tumble effect on the standard attack?

Maybe, since up close and personal seems to trigger on the attempt, rather than the success. However, part of the effect of up close and personal is dependent on the results of the Acrobatics check, which suggests that it takes place after the check, which in turn suggests that it would be the beneficiary of Canny Tumble.
Hope this helps. ^_^

Interesting notion. UCP stats that the attack is made during your attempt to move... but has different effects if you succeed or fail on your roll.
Canny Tumble activates when you use Acrobatics and succeed on the roll and affects your next melee attack.
It is a little awkward to parse out but looks like Canny Tumble assumes you cant attack until after your movement and is written as a logical sequence of events flowing from that assumption. UCP interrupts the normal rules and lets you make an attack during a move action but after rolling your acrobatics. since the two abilities both key off of the same skill check it looks like Canny Tumble would apply to the swift attack from UCP, you would get the +2 to hit but the rest of the ability is redundant to UCP.
It would be an easy fix in a home game but by RAW/PFS it looks like it doesnt apply to your standard action attack after the movement.
