Cover vs ranged attacks

Hi, I was wondering... suppose a 3 man team is in a straight, narrow corridor only 5 ft wide. The PCs are aligned in a row with the monster 'M' adjacent to the nearest PC 1 column like:

M12A

The most right 'A' attacker does a ranged touch attack. 'A' does not have precise shot, so indeed must incur -4 to attack. Does the presence of 2 also give a modifier? Thanks.

Yes, any interceding bodies between attacker and target also add soft cover.

So in the above narrow hallway example, the attack would take a -4 for attacking into melee, and the monster would get an additional +4 to its AC for soft cover? What if there were more PCs in between like

Would each PC add additional modifiers?

Nope.

The amount of people has no affect, each person would apply soft cover, but cover bonuses don't stack. you take the highest.
The monster has soft cover 5 times, but that is the equivalent of wearing 5 chain shirts
