Hello friends, my group has been playing Pathfinder for nearly a year now and we unfortunately just had a player need to step out due to work-related difficulties. We are running the Rise of the Runelords (Anniversary Edition) adventure path and are 1 session in, so you wouldn't be missing much.
No prior experience in the Pathfinder RPG system is required (we are more than happy to help teach, but you will be expected to learn as time goes by) and, while not necessarily required, prior roleplaying experience is preferred.
The party currently consists of:
Frontliner/Tank Bloodrager
Melee DD Kineticist
Ranged DD/Support Warpriest
Buffer/Healer Cleric
Suggested roles to fill: Arcane, Debuffer, Controller, Knowledges
(Note that these are just suggestions and are not required for a successful application, but may be considered in final decision-making)
It should be noted that, if you have played Rise of the Runelords before, it may be wise to consider whether or not you want to play through the adventure again. Regardless, spoiling the story for the others or attempting to metagame will not be tolerated.
Requirements:
- Availability Thursday nights (7:30pm EST - 11:30pm EST) on a regular basis (life happens and missing a session here and there is fine, just not all the time).
- A (free) account on Roll20.net.
- Mic, speakers, and the ability to download/use Discord (www.discordapp.com) for voice communications. We don't play in text chat since voice allows for a lot more interaction between players.
- A short character concept. Not looking for a fully fleshed-out backstory here, just need a proof of concept...physical description, interesting points about him/her, combat capabilities, personality, etc.
- Willingness to be a team player and enjoy team dynamics and roleplaying more than "being the best".
I will be looking for applications until Wednesday evening, June 15 so there is time to finish the building of the character before the game on Thursday night. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reply here or PM me. I'll do my best to answer them as quickly as possible.

I am available Thursday nights granted prefer to wind down by 11pm EST since I get up for work at 5:30 am. Granted I've been known to stay up till 11:30 or midnight. I hate myself the following day though.
Never used discord but used vent and teamspeak in other online games so it wouldn't be a stretch.
I've never done an table top game online before. However, I signed up to roll20.net. So that will be the only thing new to me. I am still a bit new to Pathfinder (and old school DnD player mind you). After getting back w/ my old high school friends for a monthly meet up I am looking for something more weekly.
I have two or three arcane character concepts (Investigator, Magus, and Arcanist). The Magus isn't high on the debuffer/control side granted neither is the investigator. My Arcanist concept however is likely is.. (personally leaning to Arcanist or Investigator).
I'll give a short concept for the Arcanist/Investigator to see which would fit in the group better (can do the same for the Magus if you want me to).
Investigator (Steel Hound):
Physical Desrciption: Tall prim and dour looking human (think if you crossed Solomon Kane w/ Sherlock Holmes). With a necklace with a small silver butterfly on it.
Points of Interest:Street urchin done good that is out to rid the world of evil. Knowledge monkey (planning on at least Arcane and Planes can fit in another if need be). Planning on infusions at some point so others can use his extracts (not sure when). Might dabble in traps/locks (again not sure when). Since this is my first take on the class.
Combat: Self buffer, dual wielding, later pistol packing.
Personality: Again a human that is a bit dour due to past experience. He tends to think first then act or talk. He has is either on or off when it comes to talking. He is often quiet but if he can become very loquacious in things of interest or arguments he is adamant about. He has a soft spot for helping people in need (again due to his past experience).
Arcanist
Physical Descript: A rather short nondescript (well as nondescript you can get) elf. He wears very comfortable clothes instead of the latest fashion. With a necklace with a small tankard on it.
Point of Interest: Swiss Army Knife arcane caster, Knowledge monkey (3 skills), potential to be a some what face (not the best he's not a bard or the like).
Combat: Buff party (Enlarge Person, Haste..), debuff enemies, damage enemies (early on ranged attacks, later levels spells).
Personality:His personality is contrary to his nondescript elven features. He's a carefree person. He tends to look out for himself first then others. In his mind he thinks "How can I help others if I'm taking a dirt nap?". He is the guy you want to take to the pub.

Thanks for the reply Meljinx!
If you would, please send a message to my account on Roll20.net (same name as here) and copy-paste those ideas to the message.
I should note for those that follow that any character concepts will be accepted, but changes may need to be made to fit the campaign limitations. Hopefully they will be very small since I try not to limit character creation any more than I absolutely have to.
