You're obviously able to use whatever pronunciation you prefer.
The most common pronunciation in the US is the one I suggested. If you choose a different pronunciation you may find you have to repeat yourself, and sometimes explain what the word you're using means, since you're using neither the English nor the French version.
And even the French pronunciation may not get your meaning across very well if you're trying to communicate in US gaming groups.
