help with picking feats

making a lvl 8 psychic.
im planning on specializing in enchantment magic.
but i also plan to have mind thrust as well

im trying to decide what traits/feats would be appropriate for this build

Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus are solid choices for anyone focusing on one school of magic (which you seem to be). Craft Wondrous Item is one of the best Feats in the game.

Other than that, it really depends upon tour specific build. What are your stats and items? Are you low on anything essential (like HP or initiative)? what are your strengths and weaknesses not counting Feats?

i was thinking of doing one of hte crafted feats. robobly wonderous items but my party wants rings of freedom of movement so i might do craft ring.

what im realy wondedering what metamagic feats work well with charm person/monster/ hold person, black tentacle

Persistent Spell is pretty amazing. And Extend Spell is always handy. You'll eventually also want Quicken Spell, but not until 11th at the earliest.
