I think druid and paladin could be fun. Both can have pets, which helps with action economy. Both can heal each other if needed. The druid spell list is really versatile, as is their summoning options.


Paladins can have pets? Is this an archetype thing? Reading the Core Paladin, he can have a bonded mount. I wouldn't call that a pet - and I suspect neither would the mount. :-)


Preacher inquisitor with luck/fate domain and divine intervention for mass rerolls, skills, and ranged combat combined with master summoner or anything else that has mass summon/pet potential with at least some full arcane cast potential. All the bases are covered at that point and you can even give Lady Luck a finger from time to time for extra protection.

Chosen One gets a Familiar (eventually Improved Familiar) instead, although I get the impression that in this case, the Paladin is actually the pet . . . .
