Much seams
So binding

Halfway done
Lots of fun

First week in August we are back to Scotland for familial obligations. Alex and I will be enjoying some time at some local castles, as well as seeing some of Alexs family.

I hope you two have fun. How are you feeling after that nasty fall?

If fantasy illustrators taught us anything, is that anything vaguely feminine has boobs.

Forget not your trip to the Big Easy!

Mardi Gras is a great time to get wasted,... erm,... see the sights! Yeah, That's it! ;P

I'd rather go in the Fall. I'd like to concentrate on a more sober stroll through the French Quarter, try some local cuisine, sip a coffee and nibble on a beignet early in the morning in a small patisserie, and like that

That can be arranged! :)

I enjoyed taking my siblings on one of the French Quarter buggy rides as well, the really good drivers have a lot of good history and stories to share.

Of course, they also enjoyed the swamp tour, so there's no accounting for taste I suppose. ;P

I still suggest around September, University and schools are back in full swing, BUT I haven't gotten stupid busy yet because it's early in the semester, and no one has any shows ready to go yet. ;)

The Big Easy Monkey Mania 2017 is a GO! ;)

But...but...flashing boobies will not be available during this time.
Obviously spoken by one who has never been to the French Quarter,... at ANY time of year! ;P

...

Clearly we must remedy this.

Fun with bikes and Chris Elliot

And now, bus practice

I miss gaming. I came to this conclusion last night. As soon as this week is done I am heading back into the fray

A delightful pasttime I used to indulge in

Seriously tho. I don't have to study this summer. Time to redirect myself to Oathfinder and Cypher system

Oh and Mornin' zombeh!

Your DIY meat and mead pictures are delightful

And done. Now to drive home and nap

You know what's scary? How absolutely primitive the show looks production wise. Analog non-HD just looks so wrong now

Sounds good! I want to pull off another weekend to go museum hopping. We could likely fold a game into that.

What a bizarre day. I literally just got up an hour ago. My dinurial system is all whacked.

Good news: I should have my CDL by week's end

Bad news: the check I was expecting for my training won't show up until mid-May

We could skip the massive imbibing of alcohol...

So...no lovecraft later on this month? Maybe in June then? After I get back from conventioning?

I'd prefer a more sober weekend. Perhaps a nice day of museum topped off with Bonchon and some gaming

Alcohol is fine, just no crowds/traffic/loud noises/people.

One of more successful mental hacks this year has been overcoming my fear of crowds/cities. I just need to work on my perma-writer's block next.

GOOD MORNING TREEFORTNAM!!!!!!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Another day I am grateful to be on this delightful planet of ours! Today I am landscraping and making my final Tuesday sojourn into Boston (until September, natch). The weather may screw me up, but that just gives me more time to study!

My favorite month is here! It won't be long now before the flowers are out in profusion and the weather becomes good enough to hit the beach. Living in Falmouth now gives me many more options for beaching it than Sandwich.

Almost tomato time as well!

I know. They taste even better.

Just this Sunday, I cooked a beef roast. Marinated it overnight in a mix of beef broth, Coca-Cola, dark brown sugar, and white vinegar. Then I sprinkled on some Slap Ya Mama seasoning (yes, that's a thing), and smoked it for about 2 hours with some mesquite wood.

I forgot to take pictures, however.

I wasn't expecting a webcomic. I assumed it was about space dirt or something. :-)

Good stuff!

Very soon, I'm planning on a gumbo. For some strange reason, I have never done that.
