Long story short, they're 17th to 18th level with an average Mythic Tier of 6.5. They've had dealings with the two BBEGs before, thinking they were defeated. But they were resurrected and they find themselves 2 years into the future (thanks to the Time Warden from Rogue Genius Games, one of the BBEGs). Their realm is ruled by populated by Kytons who serve as subjects to the other bad guy.

The party I'm stuck on is IF they defeat the enemies, how do they get back to their own time? The foes they'll face will be a Sorcerer (the ruler), a Witch, The Time Warden, and a Kyton Eremite Overlord.

They don't. They will need to get the things right from there (then).

That's one of the options I'm considering.

Time Dragons might be a fun wrinkle.

Back in a few. Gotta walk the dingoes.

Hmmm...those never entered my mind. Aren't there Time Elementals, too?

Incidentally, the party is a Bard, a Psion Telepath, an unarmed Fighter, a Rogue, and a Cleric.

Not that I know of.

Time Dragons have the power to travel through time but you could reasonably argue that a older more powerful or mythic one could do more janky things.

Or a collection of them.

That's a really good idea. Now to justify it's being or coming there.

EDIT: There are two types of Time Elementals, the Royal and the Common. Perhaps one has been summoned and trapped somehow and if the party manages to free it they'll be sent back to their own time.

Your idea is a really good one and I might do it, though the Rogue *just* got married in the last adventure. Being 2 years separated from a possibly dead husband would really hack the player off, something I try to not do if possible. But still, it's a good idea.. hmm..

The husband is a leader of a underground resistance? Or captive of kytons kept in stasis, saved for the further role of bargaining chip against the party?

That's a good one, too. *writes it down in notepad*

I'm glad you like it :), maybe they need someone to help them unf*$~ time, maybe the villains time f!@@ing had adverse effects on them.

Really? what book are the time Elementals from?

I agree with not going back. Samurai Jack spoilers ahead...

Spoiler:
That was my biggest problem with the ending to SJ. It erased EVERYTHING that had happened. Yes, the bad got erased, but so did the good. The people. everything. IMHO keep there in the present.

They come from the Tome of Horrors Complete. I found them on the d20pfsrd site.

The husband was put in stasis right after being killed, so it is easy(er) to bring him back.

Their poor city has suffered so much; dragon attacks, fires, attacks by mercenaries, etc. What's one more disaster they have to live through? LOL

Or the husband was a shapeshifter sent to kill the rogue or get intel on the party. The real husband is in prison somewhere.

Life is pain, Highness.

They're going to be showing that on the 30th anniversary of its release in the theater of my home town in a couple of weeks. I'll be there.

Treppa, I think you may be an admin.

I seem to be, but I don't see any requests to join. Did you submit one?

A twist to add a spoon of sugar to the bitterness of two year separation: the husband knows that the PC was sent into the future and made preparations to intercept the party and will provide them with key information:

"There's no time! We have to hurry before THEY come!" *stops to kiss the spouse* "Damn, I missed you so much for those two years... I will tell what happened in mean time once we are all safe but now we have to go, please!"

I like it!

Hey Cal, if you do decide to use the Time Dragon thing you might also like to rope in Charon.

He is actually the Daemon of death by old age and has powers to do with making people age incredibly rapidly, he's also remarkable for being the only horsemen to never have been unseated since their inception.

Some time manipulation abilities wouldn't be a stretch for him narrative wise.

I do like that. I don't have the "Book of the Damned" yet, but I could use his stats from the Bestiary.

So many good ideas! Thanks, everyone!

I feel like most of what you need should be in bestiary 6.

EDIT: but then again I don't know what you need xD

LOL.. About the only thing I'll need from the Bestiaries are the Time Dragon and the various Kytons. Still tinkering with how to use the Time Dragon, but I'll get there. Right now I'm stuffed from being at a Chinese buffet restaurant and contemplating a nap.. lol

*sigh* Cold morning.

In my opinion, contemplating a nap is probably the second best thing to do at a Chinese buffet. The best thing to do is, obviously, to leave and find somewhere better to eat.

I mean in the sense that I don't like Chinese food. Except for the occasional beef and broccoli or General Tso's chicken. But rarely. And the few times my brother dragged me into a buffet I felt like I was going to throw up from all the smells.

Sensitive pallet?

I'm a fan personally. I even try making a few of my favorites at home. I do favor Japanese over Chinese however.

I wouldn't say I have a sensitive pallet. I would say that I despise Chinese food.

So its just Chinese food then?

Chinese and Indian, mostly. I loathe the smell of curry. Most other cuisines I've been exposed to I either enjoy, tolerate, or can ignore. Just not Chinese or Indian.

Indian food can be rough. I like some Indian food but I can definitely empathize with people not liking it.
I think I'm just very open to about every kind of food.

Made chicken soup last night so my pup could have the chicken as a meal. He was eating well.

I'm totally beat though

Check the news folks especially if you have friends or family in Las Vegas.

Blue Pigeon sound off!!!

Today is my 50th Birthday. I'm not asking for anything, as I've already got the best friends I could ever find. But if anyone wants to buy me a cheap PDF as a gift, I won't say no.

I wanted Indian food, but no one else did.

Unfortunately, I can't even afford a cheap pdf at this point, but happy 50!!! I'll be 54 on the 26th and I've dropped plenty of hint bombs about wanting the Book of the Damned.
