Very high intelligence. Mixed levels of rogue and alchemist. Chaotic Evil. And I think the new Horror book Paizo put out has rules for insanity. Ranks in Use Magic Device, Disable Device, Sleight of Hand.

As the resident DC Comics expert, I defer to your undead wisdom.

Ugh. Inside out sweaty clothes.

Well, we got some hard core wedding peeps here. Not a single person came out for my "I'm tired and want to go to bed" early bus run. Rock on, you rich old b$!+&es!

Of course, that now leaves me with another hour and fifteen minutes to go until I set out.

Sometimes I look at all the Pathfinder rules and wonder: Did I make a mistake leaving AD&D behind? I am a simple monkey of little brain after all. Perhaps I would be better off with four classes and stripped-down stats.

Then I tell myself, "self, stop being a whiny pussbag and cowboy up. It ain't trigonometry, quit yer whinging "

AD & D 1st edition FTW!!!

Magical Manifest Destiny (a campaign thought)

The continent of Avardiel was peacefully occupied by a race of wood elves who integrated with the surrounding ecosystem and derived much of their magic in Druidic form. Then the Bartok Empire arrived.

Riding ships with their Sun God's Sigil on the sails, the human Bartokites and their vassals the Gurm landed on the eastern shore of Avardiel and immediately set about conquering. The Avardielians were unprepared, and arcane magic was an unknown discipline among them. The Bartokites were masters of arcane magic, having honed their craft through centuries of warfare. They lured the Gurm, an ogre-like race, into alliance with offers of loot and new lands to settle much more pleasant than their Subarctic island continent.

Now the Avardiel face a foes with unknown powers and strong armies of Giants. Their culture is ill-equipped to fight off the newcomers, but fight them they must, or perish from the face of Avardiel forever.

Where are you going, Patrick? The wilds of Canadia?

The battle for the dream sea

Within the Deep Ethereal, lies the Dreamlands. Expressed as an ocean, the souls of dreaming mortals swim placidly as fish and crustaceans with its depth. Occasionally, a highly-skilled adept , a mortal in extreme delirium , or a comatose mortal can travel to the Dreamlands as themselves. The Plains of Leng border this land, as do several less horrific lands.

Past the Dreamlands lie only the Vast, a featureless ocean of blackest night. The Dream Moon rides above it, home to the fell Moon Beasts and their black galleys. No one has returned from any voyage into the Vast. However, recently there have been tales of strange things being sighted out in that open stretch of water. Is it a new land? Or are the things stirring out there very very old?

I am! More exactly, Cape Breton, the jewel of the North Atlantic. The closest thing to Scotland without setting foot in Europe. I will be staying in Ingonish and attending my cousin's wedding. I might try to take a perusal around the Bras D'or lakes as well. Truly some great scenery

I went to Canada, once.

Pissed on a Canadian log, got drenched by Canadian rain, and saw a Canadian mouse.

That's what happens when you go to the Boundary Waters. :-)

I know Cape Breton for their friendly attitude towards US immigrants.

Tourism ploy. They, like any rural people, are fairly clannish. They welcome visitors but I doubt there'd be a lot of love if a huge amount of Yanks emigrated up there post-trump.

But, I could be wrong. They are very nice people. I've just sounded out moving up there before and been gently dissuaded.

I think they are running short on people. Maybe they use newcomers as food or something.

I'm in middle of floodpocalypse here in south louisana

When I actually need it Cox cable fails me entirely
I'll be replacing it immediately
First I have to survive another week of rain and get the water damage to my house repaired
Please pass along to my pbp's that I am out of contact
Will return soon as services are restored

GAH. Best of luck getting it all cleaned up, Rags.

Be safe, O mighty Wizard!

Maybe have Aragorn do something other than eye bang every girl from there to Mordor.

Worst wedding ever.

Not one thin dime in tips. Then, I get a call after I've left (30 mins after I left mind you) saying 'hey there's still people here, you left early'. Which I DIDN'T. :(

Oh well. Let it go. Anger is a useless emotion, and karma serves the balance.

Time to get packing for my trip!

Remember, if you use dwarves as a raft, string them together, a bobbing dwarf head isn't easy to balance on.

So, Aberzombie... I know you saw my bacon-garnished cocktail from Bar Bacon. Would that be sufficient reason to temporarily lift your ban on going to New York?

Since I don't drink cocktails, probably not. I'm mostly a beer and mead kind of guy. Especially when it's home brewed.....

Not to mention, there's always a good rauchbier, which pretty much tastes like liquid bacon. I can find those many places.

I did not know there are Rauchbiere in the US.

I just discovered a buddy from my high school days on Tumblr and she remembered me! Amid catching up I found out she has some Pathfinder books and has been interested in playing them. Trying to convince her to give PbP a try.

The ones I'm familiar with were all from brewpubs and craftbrewers. I've also got a home brewing buddy who did one. I love them. Haven't found anywhere in Houston that sells them yet.
