So while outlining my WIP female Aasimar Paladin, I came across an odd conflict I'd like to get a second opinion on, though the title itself may clue in on what I'm asking about;
Simply put I want my Aasimar be of angelic descent, and according to the wiki I can choose for her to be of angelic blood via "Variant Aasimar Heritages".
"Angel-Blooded" replaces her Daylight Sp with an Alter Self Sp, but I also want her to have the "Heavenly Radiance" racial feat as well, this is where the conflict arises.
"Heavenly Radiance" requires she retains her Daylight Sp, yet "Angel-Blooded" changes it to Alter Self Sp. So... She can either have the blood of Angels or be radiant like a heavenly being, yet not both at the same time? That seems extremely silly to me.
I'm just curious if anyone's run into this before and how they choose to deal with it. I'm thinking if I choose to have both that expending charges of Alter Self to fuel the added Sp of "Heavenly Radiance" would be perfectly acceptable lore and game play wise.
Feedback as always greatly appreciated.

What Drahliana said.
If you just want your character to be the descendant of an angel, well, lots of "standard" aasimars with the "+2Wis+2Cha; daylight" have angels in their family tree, it's just that in their case it is not quite as obvious as in an Angel-Blooded's case.
If you really want a custom Aasimar with +2Str, +2Cha and daylight, just ask your GM; after all, Aasimars with variant abilities do exist.

My conflict is simply it doesn't make sense, your "this" kind of holy being yet not "this" kind of holy being, so this doesn't work for you, despite Heavenly Radiance and Angelic Blood being fairly generic terms to describe something holy and good.
But I digress, I'm thankful for the input though, given me a few idea on workarounds and making me wonder if I want to bother with the Angel Bloodline to begin with.

yeah, you're wanting to have your cake and eat it too.
The racial feat gives you specific benefit and requires having specific mechanical abilties to qualify.
If you don't care about specific mechanics, then there is zero conflict in saying your "vanila" aasimar is angel-descendent and takes the feat,
or conversely that your (mechanically differentiated) "Angel Blooded" Aasimar has "heavenly radiance" in the generic meaning you mention,
but cannot qualify for the feat "Heavenly Radiance" nor benefit from it's specific mechanical function.
Just like you can "fluff" one's actions in Combat as being like Cleave or Spring Attack,
but without qualifying for those Feats and "purchasing" them, you can't utilize their mechanical features re: action economy.
(i.e. mechanically you will probably use a Full Attack Action or spread your Move-Attack-Move over two rounds)

You don't qualify for the feat because you need access to a Daylight Spell-like Ability. If you get it from another source, then by all means you can take the feat, but until that pre-requisite is fulfilled, then you cannot take that feat. End of discussion.
Also note that simply having the Blood of Angels doesn't make you divinity incarnate. Another example of this would be Aasimars taking the Scion of Humanity trait, which makes them count as both Native Outsiders and Humanoids (Human), and lose the ability to speak Celestial.
Conversely, having the Blood of Demons doesn't make you a hellspawn, your heritage is simply tainted. See also Sorcerer Bloodlines, which outline that your appearance and such changes, but that you aren't actually the subject of your bloodline.

Guys, he's not trying to have his cake and eat it too. He received a vanilla cake. He would like to trade that for the strawberry cake. However, as part of a package deal, he traded his vanilla cake for a chocolate cake of equal value, but the deal is strawberry-for-vanilla ONLY, for reasons of strict legalism, not any kind of fairness or value considerations.

It's called Heavenly Radiance because it alters how you can use the Daylight ability. If you no longer have the Daylight ability, you're no longer the kind of Aasimar who can use Heavenly Radiance. There are different "kinds" of celestial beings just as there are different "kinds" of fiends. Devils, Daemons, and Demons are different so you wouldn't argue that an Abyssal Sorcerer should be able to use Infernal bloodline rules elements on the premise that "evil outsiders are all the same". So why would you argue that "good outsiders are all the same" to justify why a variant heritage that no longer has the racial ability you want to take a feat to support is a "conflict"? There is not, nor was there ever, a real conflict; only an imagined one.
