The Fiend Fantastic |
Every year around this time, we set ourselves some goals to achieve or good intentions for the next year.
And so, what are yours for 2016?
Mine: To get full time shifts, opposed to parttime.
To get my season 1 team through many more missions, hopefully (but you never can tell the unexpected dice results) without one of them dying.
Probably a few i'll think of later.
Game Master Scotty |
Start GMing for Pathfinder society.
Open a lodge in my town if my time and energy levels permit.
Aquire, learn, and utilize the necessary tools and skills to create PDFs and publish some 3rd party Pathfinder compatible modules/adventures/stuff.
Find a way to manage my mental health issues more effectively so I can quit smoking permanently.
Reduce my stress levels to something that doesn't give me as many or reduced anxiety attacks.
Home brew beer.
Identify the thing in my spinal column and address it.
See a dentist.
Purchase a rifle and teach my daughter's the fundamentals of shooting, as taught to me by my mother, grandpa, and great grandpa. It's a very old family tradition, brought on by bad hunters go hungry and my family hasn't been hungry since we came to the states in the 1850's, I'd like to maintain.
Purchase a V8 car to customize.
Continue to Blame Cosmo for his devious plans, and his minions.
Try out pineapple with gremlins, I'm told it makes their flesh tolerable to the taste.

When I worked in a restaurant, I started as part time and thought I wanted to go full time. After a bit of initiation, it happened. I suppose it happened when I stopped looking around at what other people were doing and focused on the tasks and durations set. Nose to the grindstone has a bit of baggage to it, so maybe relax personalities and work hard makes for acceptable order. It can be fun too. Cheers to 2016
ElderNightmare |
Train a bit my professional skills.
Improve my physical workout.
Playing "Dragon Demands" with a party composed of very rough player but a weird party.
They will suffer.
Continue to play and promote Pathfinder, enjoying it in spite of its defects but also hanks to its quality.
Finding player really comitted to start and finish an AP.
Finishing compiling and expending my notes for my homebrew.
And keeping my charming personnality.
Orthos |
Finish Kingmaker. We just wrapped up Chapter 5. If we successfully finish Chapter 6, it will be the first campaign I or my group has ever completed.
Start my Runelords plot in Neverwinter Nights.
Get at least slightly healthier - eat less, walk more, lose some weight hopefully. If I can get back down to 200 lbs I'll be pretty happy.
Avoid the hell out of anything political.
Finally get to visit my girlfriend this summer as planned.
That's really all I have planned.

Possibly start attending a (reasonably) local PFS game
Do HEMA more than once a week.
Grow bigger carrots.
Actually be in a position to get a cat and keep it happy.
These are 'nice to haves' rather than 'must do-s', but still...
I don't know what HEMA stands for. I sort of like carrots, they're easy to digest.

Historical European Martial Arts.
I like carrots too.

Well, in 2015 my resolution was to not make plans I won't follow through with, so in the spirit of that, I didn't make any resolutions for 2016.
You are wiser than I. We're not even a month into the new year and I'm weedeling on my choices already. I probably won't thread chat anymore on this board until Sunday.
