bonded object composite?

Advice

hi everyone recently i have plans to play an eldritch archer and i was wondering is there a cost limit to the bonded object? it says its masterwork with no cost so could i make a 400 gold mw composite+3 bow for free or could i bond with a balista and it will be free?

-"GM, Can i choose a masterwork Vortex Gun as my arcane bound?"

How to proceed?

*Grab heavy object
*Hit Player on the face twenty times
*Wipe all blood from the floor
*Set the house on fire
*call the cops and surrender

Ok,now let's get the facts..

By RAW you can make any object that fall into one of the following categories: amulet, ring, staff, wand, or weapon into a Arcane Bound.

Also, by RAW a ballista is a weapon that belongs to the fighter siege engines weapon group.

Discuss it with your GM. Find out what he thinks a fair limit on what you can get for free might be.

There actually is a seige wizard bond. But it's an archtype so that alone should answer that question.
