@John Compton
I was looking through threads on animal companion advice and saw you had said (May 12, 2016) there was an issue with shadow disappearing animal companinions and among others the arsinoitherium was to be soon re-added to the additional resources.
It does not appear there now.
Was it reconsidered and decided not to add it back in for some reason or is it missing for some other reason?
Thank you,
Zephyre14

Take note, Linda has posted key Campaign Clarifications that should appear in the next update of that document—particularly regarding Pathfinder Player Companion: Healer's Handbook and Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Qadira, Jewel of the East.

I recently received a ratfolk boon for GMing at a local con. Is the Scurrying Swarmer feat legal? (It is on p.23 of DTT but it's not a trait; any clarification would be appreciated- without this feat I will probably trade out the swarming ratfolk race feature... if the feat is legal the ratfolk can then use his swarming ability with his non-ratfolk pathfinder friends! :-) )
Not legal last time I checked.

Remember, when creating content for BEGINNERS (and for Pathfinder Society, that would definitely include me), attention to detail and rigorous consistency is vital... otherwise it is easy to go off the rails and descend into frustration.
With that in mind, the "Beginner Box Pathfinder Society Character Creation Guide" references, on page 3 in the "What's Next" box, the "Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play".
Please correct me if I am wrong, but the current document that is supposed to be indicated by that reference is, apparently, no longer named that at all... but is named:
"Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide", Version 8.0 - August 4, 2016... (PZOPSS0000E.pdf)
Is that correct??
Thanks.

(p.s. Is there a hidden watermark, or other place where paizo's catalog number for a given PDF is embedded within the PDF itself?)

I absolutely agree that it's important to exercise attention to detail when creating products—for beginners and everyone else.
Looking at the Beginner Box Pathfinder Society Character Creation Guide, it looks like it was created shortly after the Beginner's Box's release about six years ago. The guide document was renamed the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide three years ago, a change that reflected the campaign's name change from "Pathfinder Society Organized Play" to "Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild," bringing it line with the Pathfinder Adventure Card Guild program.
It seems what you're requesting is that we update the Beginner Box Pathfinder Society Character Creation Guide web supplement to match the name change that occurred three years later. I'm not seeing the original file where I'd expect to find it (at least at this hour, and it might be archived elsewhere). If I can track that down, it might be worth updating the text in a few spots to rerelease.
In the meantime, if you have any questions about the organized play campaigns (Pathfinder Society, Starfinder Society, or Adventure Card Guild) or how to get started, these messageboards are the right place. Ask away in the relevant thread (or create a new one), and our community is quick to chime in with collective wisdom.

I'm not sure of the validity of Beginner Box PFS GM or Player chronicles being handed out at this time. The Instructions mention the Beginner Box Bash but that was a limited time event (not mentioned in the materials) which is over. If there are chronicles in your download then the normal thing would be to presume they are valid...

Beginners Box bash chronicle isn't valid at this time a character had to earn it at the previous event.

thus it might be nice to have that documented somewhere and the chronicles removed from the download, or come up with new ones...

The additional resources link in the first post doesn't work anymore. I can't find the correct location.
