Anyone have any fun sword (or spear) and shield builds?

Advice

Trying to come up a shield and sword(or spear) based character that's not just attack and damage.

Lately I have been very big on debuff/applying conditions through abilities such as cornugan smash. Flensing strike. Or cruel weapon enhancement.

Does anyone have any fun combat builds that uses a shield (large or tower) and a sword (or spear) that takes advantage of conditions/effects/ or changing the surrounding battlefield.

I would prefer minimizing the amount of spell casting if possible.

Mithral heavy shield (or Armor Expert trait + masterwork at low levels, I suppose), + light spear, unchained rogue.

Stats: 13 str, maxed dex, 12+ con, high cha.

Get power attack, cornugon, and hurtful.

Use the unchained rogue to stack conditions when you sneak attack.

Very simple, but I think it'd be fun. Can also use Estoc, Rapier, or dueling sword, although some of that requires EWP.

I ran a rather effective shield using Hobgoblin fighter, twf with a heavy steel shield and a battle axe, lots of shield bashes and free bull rushes to control the battle field

Whirling Dervish Swashbuckler with the Shield-Trained trait, that wields a Shortspear and Heavy Shield?

X and Board style rangers get to make lots of bull rush attempts at lower levels than anyone else. I've never played one but its on my list. Shield Slam at level 2 makes for lots of moving enemies around.

The Shield Trained trait is a must for using Heavy shields.
