Seeing as how both of these are PFS legal I was wondering If you could use the Homunculi of Lepidstadt stuff on our homunculus that we get? If we spend the proper amount of money.

If it is allowed which would be the best ability to pick first? The spell like ability or the speak?

Considering you already get your Homunculus speech (of all your languages no less) around the time that you can start modding them...I'd go with potions. Start stacking up level one potions, maybe get the Spit Poison for a nice ranged touch sleep attempt.

Especially useful when you're playing your Promethean Alchemist as a physician when not adventuring. Who doesn't want a walking Anesthesiologist/Surgical Assistant that you have constant telepathy with? So flavorful when comboed with Chirurgeon. If that doesn't strike your fancy, just harvest lots and lots of your Homunculus's poison and just smear it all over a bunch of daggers surgical scalpels and call it a creepy creepy day.

Sadly I don't think you can do that in PFS as for the speech thing it's only 500gp for an early type of speech

And it only get speech with languages it knows at level 6

Are languages something you know? Are you within 1500 feet? It can know your languages. Eidolons get that for free, and nobody cares. Why should a companion that literally knows everything you do be treated worse?

I believe they are talking about info the alchemist might know (like knowledge and perception and sense motive and stuff like that) and visa versa

Languages are a thing you know, just like knowledges. It knows what I as a Promethean Alchemist know. That subset of things happens to include languages, what my nearby surroundings are, what I can recall about the thing trying to eat my face, and my opinion of whether that thing is telling the truth about whether it wants just a nibble.

If a GM wishes to rule that no, the thing that knows what I know does not know what I know, then I will just have to rely on the same ability to have it do it anyway. Since it shares everything it hears if I know the language it gets the translation through the bond. I can then use my genius level intellect to communicate a response as appropriate to our disposition. As a purely mental free action identical to the "The thing trying to gnaw my nose off is an X. It wants the whole face, lying bastard." Action.

The ability is basically saying whatever you, The creator, is thinking the homunculus will know. It's not like the homunculus is picking your brain for the information.

I'm guessing that since PFS removes your crafting feats (Promethean Disciple class feature, in this case), you'll be unable to do the improvements in that section on your own, and thus they'll be at full cost.
Am I getting that right?
