Hello,
i have read it somewhere once but can not remember anymore where ist was. So i have to ask here and i hope you can help me.
With every new Adventure Path you add Cards to the game. Thats clear that far but as far as i remember there is a time you sort out some Cards as well so that you later on do not get the Basic Cards or the expert Cards anymore.
Can some tell me when i have to sort out the Cards? After which part?
Does it apply to all three games?

It's on the Adventure Path card for each box set and in the Guide to Guild Play for those playing that.
Generally, you start removing Basic cards instead of banishing them when you start Deck 3, and Elite cards when you start Deck 4. Banes must be removed, boons may be removed.
In Guild play, starting with Deck 4 you remove before the game (or replace as you go) cards of either trait whose AD# is (scenario AD - 3).

I have a follow up question regarding this (since I'll hopefully be starting Adventure 3 soon).
Do you remove them AFTER you encounter them? I encounter a B Basic monster, kill it, then remove it from the game so it can't be encountered again?
As you go on the scenarios will get more difficult, because you're weeding out the weaker monsters?
That's how I've been reading it but I want to make sure.

That is correct.

And just to make sure, it's cards with the Basic trait, not necessarily those from the B set. And also notice the distinction between banish and just put back in the box. For instance, leftover cards after rebuilding your decks are not banished. Nor are cards in locations that were temp closed at the end of the game, etc.
