I back that guy up though. You are acting like my character is useless when I posted a full build which has respectable saves, AC, tons of skills and amazing damage. Don't know what more are you looking for.
If you only play builds with pounce, 9 level casting and full BAB, plus all good saves... I uh hope you enjoy your uber gestalt game?

I´m chiming in here to say that my halfling unchained rogue is actually one of the most succesfull characters in combat in our Giantslayer game, competing with a Bloodrager.
With the right players and some tactical understanding rogues work pretty well from level 1 on.
Many people saying otherwise often only proof that they either lack this understanding or just prefer to play single tactics charge/pounce/smite in, neglecting teamplay often. (Note the "often", not talking in absolutes here.)
While canny tumble was most probably intended for swashbucklers, it´s certainly a good and nice way for a rogue, and circling mongoose to.
So good point OP!
I didn´t yet catch the twist away errata, what was done there?

You can't no longer combine it with Ring of Ferocious Action to ignore staggered 3 times a day. You need to slug through the staggered round.
It's still a good feat, but I'd probably take Great Fortitude over it in most cases.

It now says that the staggered condition you get for using the feat cannot be negated by any means so you can't combo it with stagger removers like Ring of Ferocious Actions any more. Now using the feat always bones you for a round.

The criticism is not with your build. The criticism is with the required effort needed to achieve your build.
Some tactics still have it too easy (ie: 2H). Some still have it too hard (ie: Sneak Attack reliance). Some classes still need defensive tweaks.Rogues are in a much better place than they used to be, but they need a baked-in way to improve at least one of the two "important" saves.

Flat-footed only applies at the beginning of combat or if you have a specific ability that allows you to treat someone as flat-footed. There are abilities, such as Sap Master, that only apply when an opponent is flat-footed and not simply denied their dex bonus. You cannot take attacks of opportunity if you are flatfooted.
I would be thrilled if those abilities that call out flat-footed worked when you were simply denied dex to AC, but they do not.

Darksol the Painbringer |

h-how are they different
EDIT: Oh right, flat-footed cannot take AoO unless they have combat reflexes.
Fixed that for you.
And I will point out that Combat Reflexes will be a regular problem you'll come across when facing other martials in combat.

AHH ok. Got it. But it only works until you miss ...
Yup, though you would also need to fail your acrobatics check, right? Because otherwise, Canny Tumble would kick in. Assuming you are taking multiple acrobatic checks per full-attack, which there seems to be some contention over.

Removed some baiting posts. Also, stop calling others the "Paizo Defense Force."
You know, "The Paizo (Boards) Defense Force" would be a pretty good moniker for those of you wielding the mighty smite hammer of justice against the spam-posters.
Now you just need an appropriately lengthy magical transformation sequence. And Vigilante levels.
