Combining Melee Attacks

Advice

I'm playing a mid level multi class musketeer style swordsman. Is there any way to get an effect like Pummeling Style or Clustered Shots with a rapier? From my rapiers I'm doing 1d6 + 2d6 (vicious) +1d6 (path of war thrusting dragon stance) +13 (dex for str, specialized, gloves dueling, etc) I'm using improved TWF too. Vital strike isn't going to cut it, not worth giving up extra dual strike attacks.

I'm willing to dip a bit and burn a couple feats. Thanks in advance.

Well the issue you have is penetrating strike is only available to 12th level fighters.. unless your GM is willing to help you out here.

No.

Errata/FAQ
Does Pummeling Style work with all weapons?

No, Pummeling Style is intended to work with only unarmed strikes. Add the line. “You can only use Pummeling Style with unarmed strikes”. This will be reflected in future errata.

Clustered Shots only works with Ranged Weapons, and Pummeling Style has been errata'd to only work with Unarmed Strikes (thank god, the amount of cheese surrounding that would've lead to lactose-intolerant nuclear warheads).

Damage Reduction isn't that big of an issue if you can get your weapons with high enough Enhancements; +3 weapons bypass Cold Iron and Silver, +4 weapons bypass Adamatine, and +5 weapons bypass Alignment-based DR.

If you have access to Mythic rules, Mythic Vital Strike is definitely worth the Mythic feat, and makes the Vital Strike chain much more valuable and consistent than standard full-attacks.

If you're using TWF, remember you are suffering -4 to hit for using 2 1-handed weapons. You need to find a way to use a light weapon to reduce your hit penalties (Effortless Lace magic item is probably the easiest route to go).

You could actually do it if you got a throwing enchant on your rapier and a blinkback belt+quickdraw.

I wonder if you could possibly TWF with a single weapon like this. I assume not because TWF means you are more or less attacking at the same time with the two weapons.

Edit: too may rules bouncing around today while tired.

Did I just read you wrong or are you seriously saying you can't TWF with thrown weapons?

TWF specifies that you have two sets of iteratives, and you specify one weapon to deal all the attacks of one iterative, and another for the other. FAQ here covers everything with actual in-game examples.

Unarmed Strikes and Natural Weapons the Green Card, though GMs would rule that if you do not have at least two limbs free to make Unarmed Strikes/Natural Weapons (i.e. if all you have available to attack with is a hand), then you couldn't TWF (or FoB for that matter).

If he had 2 rapiers enchanted that way, he could do it.

But those are still extremely feat intensive, and inoptimal to do.
