hybridization funnel and double splash

I've wondered this as well. I think there's been a topic about it before but probably without any solid/confirmed result nor consensus.

For balance reasons it would be better to say no.

Ignoring balance, I'd still tend to lean towards no since it mixes 2 splash weapons into one. Alchemist adds Int bonus to a splash weapon's damage, and he's just throwing one splash weapon. It has double damage effect, but still is only one splash weapon.

The biggest question is which damage type would the bonus damage go towards? That jog's my memory further. I remember there was a discussion specifically about this before. It seems fine just to let the alchemist choose it's affinity upon creation of the combo vial.
