Does Anticipate Dodge make Dodge + Mobility better for 3 / 4 BAB classes?

Advice

These feats are usually considered weaker than the rest, but considering they can eventually lead to a feat that amounts to a +2 attack bonus against most enemies you will face, while also granting a decent boost to AC, I was wondering if it may be worth it to boost the accuracy of some classes like Rogue or Magus.

What do you think?

Why do you feel that most enemies you face will have a dodge bonus to AC? Even more important, why do you feel those enemies will have +2 dodge bonus?

Dodge bonuses are by far the rarest form of AC boost.

Spending 3 Feats to get a +1 bonus to-hit on 2% of creatures is dumb.

Get Weapon Focus. Three times if necessary.

Isn't Dexterity itself a dodge bonus?

No, Dexterity is an ability bonus.

Oh, I know what happened. You assumed the feat couldn't possibly be as bad as it is. Hate to break it to you, but it is.

Yep. The feat is slightly above the original Prone Shooter. Roughly in Elephant Stomp territory.
It sucks, badly, unless your campaign goes about defeating an ancient organization of monks who use Crane Style or something.

So the only time Anticipate Dodge is useful is when you anticipate fighting lots of enemies with dodge bonuses.

But you can't anticipate dodging enemies without taking Anticipate Dodge.

Kif, we have a conundrum.

If you are fighting a lot of Total Defense-using enemies it might be nice. Otherwise, it's totally not worth it.
