Greater Leadership (Ex)
At 2nd level, a noble scion gains the Leadership feat as a bonus feat. He can recruit a cohort up to one level lower than himself. At 10th level, he can recruit a cohort of the same level as himself.
Aide-De-Camp (Ex)
At 3rd level, an esquire acquires the services of a loyal aide-de-camp. This NPC functions similarly to a cohort, though the aide-de-camp must advance in a class that grants proficiency with all martial weapons and cannot multiclass until the esquire reaches 7th level (though the aide-de-camp can select an archetype).
Would a cavalier prestiging into Noble Scion have their Aide-De-Camp level limit increased by 1?

It looks like you could run them as separate abilities, and have one aide at lvl-2 and one cohort at lvl-1.
Unlike Leadership, Torchbearer, and Squire, which all explicitly provide a "cohort," Aide-de-camp provides a companion that is "similar" to a cohort.
And since it is replacing Mount, you don't have any more 'moving pieces' than a regular cavalier/noble scion.
If you run the aide as an actual cohort, yes, I would just say the lvl limit of Greater Leadership affects the aide and he can now be lvl-1.

Please forgive my ignorance; but, from whence comes this Aide-De-Camp?

The Esquire Cavalier archetype. It's from Cohorts and Companions.
