Stats for Sorshen

Are there stats for Sorshen anywhere?

There aren't any officially, yet.

Inner Sea Magic lists her as an Azlanti human female enchanter 20+. James Jacobs has stated that all of the Runelords were Thassilonian specialists. He also said somewhere that she has a few mythic tiers, but was coy about how many. The secret message in the credits of The Dead Heat of Xin was, "Sorshen lives!"

That's about as close as canon gets to stats.

I can further confirm that her mythic tiers are in the Trickster path as well. And just 20th level enchanter. The "+" in Inner Sea Magic was code for "Mythic and/or template and/or racial hit dice."

Furhtermore... she PROBABLY has a template. Not sure what one though...

There is a set of stats for Sorshen, in the NPC Codex.

Interesting! I'm guessing she's a pure-blooded Azlanti as well, with the +2 on all stats per ISWG. It would only make sense given the era in which she was born.

Thanks.

Correct. She also has all of the bonuses to mental stats for being venerable, but none of the penalties to physical stats.

Not as far as I know. Especially since the NPC Codex, being world neutral, does not contain the actual race (Azlanti) that Sorshen is. Barring the missing templates and mythic tiers.

I think Tim may be thinking of Shensen and the NPC Guide. ^_^

I know this an old thread, and 2nd edition is due for release soon; however, I have made a roughly CR 24 Sorshen using Hero Labs. Hopefully this link will work to the PDF: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cXXTJMQrdj_h1nDJYL9KEuSFGNTa8HpW/view?usp= sharing

Opening move is to use Overwhelming Presence, since a successful save still staggers the targets for 1 round. Quickened Feeblemind on a caster.

I could go into more detail, but I prefer to see thoughts from others first. An intelligence player can look at her spells & see all sorts of tactical variants.

I have a feeling that we'll be seeing official stats for Sorshen in Return of the Runelords. Just a guess though, not officially confirmed as far as I know.

That sounds like a definite possibility, Skizzerz; however, they might be more focused on 2nd edition rules before giving runelords any stats.

I don't think 2nd edition will have any impact on the Return of the RUnelords AP , and I would be amazed if we don't get stats for at least some of the runelords. I think Sorshen is almost certain to be one we get stats for, I half expect to get 1 runelord per module with Greed being the one we don't get due to Karzoug's earlier demise

Sloth is also canonically dead through PFS. The Waking Rune has you wake up and kill Krune.

Silver Crusade

Which leaves us with 5, so one per book with the wielders of the swords of sin in the remaining book?

I actually like the idea of them being down a couple of members....creates a vacuum that "up and coming" Runelords could step into :P

Since I've seen some responses to the thread, I have two questions. One, did my link to the doc work? And, what are thoughts on the actual stated version that I present as a possible Sorshen?

The link works. (Here is a clickable version of it.)

Thanks Matthew Downie. I had forgotten to adjust her age (though I did make her a Venerable human). I'm hopeful that most reasonable people would overlook such minor issues and focus on the main content.

Wizards should often want to do a bit multiclassing into a scouting type rogue once wizarding is mostly done. The main weakness being being cornered and hacked to bits and running out of suitable spells... so its useful to be able to sneak, spot, acrobat about etc.
Plus archmages int is thru the roof already so the thieving and sneaking skills will shoot up real fast.

Plus if you get anti-magicked you can still survive even among traps and monsters.
