Sad to have missed it this year.
Happy that next year the dates work with my work schedule!

We'll also have the /paizocon page cleaned up a bit in the coming days with some basic information for 2016.

I'll be there. Putting in the time off request this upcoming week (and preemptively listing it on the calendar).

Unless something catastrophic happens, I'll definitely be there. And this time I'm gonna book everything way sooner so it's less expensive - flying from the east coast can suck sometimes @_@.

I tried.to reserve the room but there was a line. Planning to be there, and with extra days off around again - I missed hanging out post-con!

My wife and I are planning on it.
We want to try and figure out how to run a live Swallowtail festival, and are already making plans on how to build set pieces and set up activities.
If things go well it will be our celebration of my graduation and well earned degree, so expect us to bring the party.

I want to go but not sure if I will be able to. Plus I also want to go to RTX next year I might have to choose one.
Garrett Guillotte wrote: Who's already planning for it? Need you even ask?
Plans for next year already started the moment we left SeaTac.
We were planning it DURING the con.
Garrett Guillotte wrote: Who's already planning for it? This year was my first (just bought in to Pathfind (rpg & card) at GenCon last year) and fully plan to be back in 2016!
I want to go. I won't be able to figure out if I'll be able to go for several months yet, at the earliest.
Very much hoping to be able to go for the first time next year!
We have a party of 5 adventurers going up from Tucson!

Airline ticket acquired!!
Got another couple of months before I can grab my airline ticket ... flying from the east coast isn't cheap. But once secured I will also grab up my room. :)
Anyone know the discount code for rooms there?
I do not believe a room rate has been established as of yet.
You can always make the reservation (there is no deposit required) and cancel it if the Con rate is better.
I just reserved a double queen room in the tower for $98/night using the AAA discount ... If memory serves the Convention Rate for 2015 was arounf $114/night.

That seems a bit premature for all of the rooms to sell out over memorial weekend. Perhaps there was a mistake?
Any idea when the room rate will be established?

My standard approach to any convention these days is to add a 'buffer' day on either side when travelling. There was nothing available 26MAY2016-31MAY2016 when I looked?

Any idea when the room rate will be established? Almost certainly, the hotel has put the majority of the rooms aside for the convention block, but that's not free until the con is formally announced in autumn.
Will this include the hotel code for making reservations?

I'm trying to make travel plans now, but I have no context to build the reservation around save date and location Should I try a travel package from an airline, and then tell them to credit the room to the room block when I check in?
I'm still looking for the room discount code. Does anyone know when reservations for these rooms will be available for the convention?
It probably will not be announced until Paizo does their big Paizo 2016 announcement/update, which I'm betting will be later this month or some time in Jan. maybe ...
Folks waiting on hotel info: we're working to get that available to you soon. We still have some ducks to line up in a row for badge sales/special guests, but will endeavor to get you the info you need for travel/booking a room :)

Awesome. Thanks for the update!
Alright folks, we have the room block information available! Check the link on the main PaizoCon page to book. We're still working on other PaizoCon details, but if you wanted to get a head start on reserving a room, go for it!
Are the only rooms in the block with 2 queen beds? It's just going to be me and my wife, so a single bed (queen or king) would be fine, and potentially cheaper.

I put in for the 'scenic view package' for the room, if it's available. Only been to Seattle-Tacoma once back in the early '90's and it was a mad rush from McChord to SeaTac to catch a flight. (I'd flown in on M.A.C. from California...)
Quite the adventure, but didn't leave a lot in the way of time for sightseeing.

Not much around the hotel is... scenic. Then again, I guess that depends on what yer definition of scenic is.
I'm arriving at 1:30AM on Thursday. Hopefully they will let me check in and nap. x.x

I am wondering the same thing. It will be just my husband and I so we really don't need 2 queen beds. Also if I book the 2 queen bed room now and a room with only one bed is added to the conference price block can I change the reservation later?

Even at 1:30AM you should be PLAYING SCENARIOS NON STOP.

In reality, I need lots of sleep too. At gaming cons, I'm never one of the "hang out and drink way past midnight" crowd. I'm more of the "rush to bed as soon as I can wind down from my last scenario so that I get maximum sleep before diving in the next morning."
Any news on when tix for the con are scheduled to be released?

Same here, but I'm hoping to mix in some awesome panels and other events! The diversity panel from last year was great!
Unfortunately no new updates about badge sales. With everyone out of the office for the holidays, we likely won't have the announcement available until the new year. Thank you for your continued patience, we want to get this info available to folks just as badly, I assure you!
Chris, any update on room types in the block that aren't double Queens? A single queen or single king room would be preferable for my needs and I'm sure others would as well...I'd rather have the double queens available for those who want that room type and save a bit of money as well (to be able to spend more at the store!)
