Between GMing two conventions a year, and not paying attention, I've amassed a couple boons that are just crying out for a character, and I can't quiet decide what that character is, so I was looking for advice.
– I have the elemental air ancestry boon, which allows me to play a Sylph.
– The ancestral arms? boon that lets me be proficient in a races weapons (elf, dwarf, half-orc)
– not sure the name, but the crazy jungle boon that gives you basically endure elements vs heat + a bonus vs swarms.
Elven Curve Blade Empiricist Investigator is my first gut reaction, but I'm open to suggestions.

The investigator would not be proficient in the elven curve blade.
The weapon familiarity boon would just make it count as a martial weapon for you (instead of exotic) ... and investigators do not get martial weapon proficiency.
That's what I get hot not having them to hand. Or failing reading

You could get heirloom weapon trait for that

Heirloom Weapon was errata'd long ago.
You can't use it to grab an exotic weapon.
Only simple or martial.

This comes up in other areas as well, such as enchantments and class abilities.
So, does that apply to mithril armor, as well?
Can you get medium fortification on a mithril breastplate, or just light?

As an aside, we really need (as a society and as a message board) to get past using "pimp" as a positive connotation verb.
I'm not sure it was meant with positive or negative connotation. It is usually used to mean garish, or gaudy, or absurd, likening back to the cliché of the purple suited, gold chained, feathered hatted pimp. Alternatively the horror that befell perfectly good cars and the TV show Pimp My Ride. Still I will concede that casting any positive light on sexual exploitation, and human trafficking is something we could do with less of. Still, words change, derogatory terms become less so, or non-derogatory become the meanest slurs, the battle for this one may be lost.

When doing traits I saw the Fire Bug Trait, is there a reason that every throwing alchemist doesn't take that trait? It seems better then weapon focus, in that it gets all splash weapons and bombs, and of course stacks with weapon focus as well.
Is that a goblin trait? (or gnome?)
wait - Kobold I think. Yeah, you have to be a Kobold to get it (I think).

Nope, it's just a Combat trait.
And I agree, Galnorag. When I was building my first alchemist (this guy) I saw that trait and wondered the same, haha. For a trait it's such a good bonus.
