I am trying to report an event and I keep getting a message...
Important
One or more characters cannot play this scenario due to being the wrong character/scenario type.
This does not make any sense to me as I have reported before with all these players, any reason why it wont let me report?
All info entered is correct.

This is being discussed in Website Feedback as well.
I think you can still register a game with just the players who have registered their numbers, and do the rest later.

What if you have a group of 4 players but 2 haven't registered their characters? I've never tried to report a game, but I suspect it would complain that the table is under the legal size.

I am having the same issue. I have players who have never registered any of their characters, and might never do so.
This is going to be even worse for when I do my next PFS session for my buddies and their kids. The kids are young enough that a couple of them don't have e-mail addresses and won't even be able to make Paizo accounts yet, nor do their dads want them getting e-mail accounts yet... so am I going to just be stuck not reporting those games for a few years?
There has to be a better way to do this.

You can report with just two. You can even report a game with no numbers, as long as the GM has a number.

Dwayne, could you download some extra PFS numbers when you make the event, or get whoever the event organizer is if it's a public event? You can then give the PFS numbers + confirmation codes to the kids/parents (maybe write down in your records the PFS number and confirmation code in case they all lose them) and report with those?
For folks that haven't been registering their characters, GM/event coordinators can still report the other players/characters and fill in the rest when do they register later, right?
I think? I haven't had to report in years so I'm unsure how it still works.

I have done that, It's how I reported these sessions in the past. but the way the system is now I can't really report the games with characters who aren't registered online, I just get the error message.
I guess I am going to have to get my buddies to make e-mail addresses for their kids, so they can make Paizo accounts for the kids, so that they can register the characters, and then I will be able to report again. It just seems like a lot of hassle to make them go through.

I just can't see a Con organizer who might be logging 100 tables of play going out of their way to try to chase down players who haven't registered their characters. The scenarios will probably just end up being unreported for those characters. I suppose that's not a huge problem but it could make some headaches when people finally do get around to registering those PCs and have to complain that these scenarios were never credited.
