I want to be able to hold my own up close but focus on throwing my shield. I will buy a amulet of mighty fist next. But any input in traits feats items will be much appreciated.
No love for the shield champion?
Why the amulet? Just use the shield.
I'd get Dirty Trick feats, up to Dirty Trick Master, since you have a way to apply two dirty tricks simultaneously.
For melee, just get power attack and furious focus as you need them.
