Here's a tip for PbP: try filling the "Classes/Levels" line of your profile not with your actual race and class, but with an assortment of shorthand character info.
See all the gray text underneath my name? With that in place, the GM doesn't have to open up my profile in another tab to see whether his attack hits me, whether the damage drops me, what my save bonus is, and so forth. It's got benefits on the player's side as well: I don't have to open my profile to see what resources (HD, action surge, superiority dice, etc) I've still got left.
It's a huge help, both for the GM and the player. I highly recommend it. :)

A quick question...is this tavern located in Phelan? If so, would I know about it, having grown up in the town. Just want to know if I am familiar with the staff and have been there before....don't want to seem too knowledgable about a place I have never been.lol

No, I think it works well for some good character interactions. Makes the game fun.

You would know of their past, but they no longer seem to have any further connection with the church. They seem to currently be simply the police force of Phlan in the absence of a real Lord. (As the Lord Protector recently died unexpectedly, the Knight Commander has stepped up to be Lord Regent.)

Yes, that is always an option. Though without a faction, you may not benefit from Faction Charity, which will bring your character back to life for free from lvl 1-4 (but you gain no benefit from the module).
But it is all up to you.
Oh, and also, Ander, you may also spend 10 downtime days to craft potions of healing instead of buying them, since you have proficiency in herbalism kit. (In case you don't want to spend the gold.)

Was there something you wanted to say to the guard captain? I'm sure the GM will rewind the scene to add In your question and get some answers to you. That's the only scene we've skipped ahead on right now due to players not posting in one of the 24 hour periods we're supposed to post in.
I mean, it's pbp. We either have minor jumps in time as people post questions to scenes we've passed up, or we delay game waiting for people to post outside of the time limit they agreed to post in.
I'd rather have minor backtracks than to completey delay the game while everyone waits - because we don't know if we're waiting for just another couple of hours or if we're waiting for another couple of days. I've done the whole "wait for the last guy to make a post before moving on" thing, and when they're not posting on schedule, it kills PBP games.
This weekend, I won't be able to post. I am flying to a neighbor island to watch the Acquisitions Inc. show at the Fathom event on Sunday. I will be back to post on Monday. Have a nice weekend, folks!

Sorry Grigor. In the PbP medium, I can always retcon to include your question or interaction. I understand that some people cannot post all the time, and often will accommodate those players. If you still feel you would like to drop out, I understand, but I just want all of you to have fun while not having this take a full month (or longer).
