Sunday December 21st, at 5PM EST/2PM PST/10PM GMT - Rotters Hole population test! [Make it if you can!]
Due to the new optimizations from the last two patches, we would like to try a HUGE Endeavor, we want to get 100 accounts (more if we can) logged on at the same time on Sunday in Rotters Hole. This will be a population test just to see how hard we can stress the server, so we ask everyone to try and make it for the betterment of the game. If you can't make it, just log your character(s) in ahead of time, and idle in Rotters Hole near the Shrine of Pharasma.
If we meet and exceed 100 accounts, please move excess accounts to the center of hex directly south of Rotters Hole.
Thank you all for your help and support!
Running a non-exp gaining alt over to RH and leaving it there is the best approach. (Likewise for our sister event, Saturday December 20th, at 5PM EST / 2PM PST / 10PM GMT - Brighthaven population test! [Make it if you can!].) (Yes, stolen like an artist from Cheatle's event.)

I hope people don't actually think that.
ah yes, not everyone will think to check the time stamp :) yay for edits!
Second, we should probably be focusing on one time specifically, just to make sure we get everyone we need. Good Luck though.
Sunday versus Saturday.

Saturday Brighthaven in far far south and east.
Sunday Rotter's Hole in north and in west. Not quite far far north but very far west. Then again east west is narrower than north south extent.
Going from Tavernhold to Brighthaven is a time-consuming trip, and that was before encumbrance.
I expect we will have different people showing up at both events in part for this reason and in part because of the different days.
Edit: The run from Thornkeep to Brighthaven is fairly easy. The run from Rathglen to Brighthaven is a beast.
If you are in Rathglen, you might want to settle for heading to Rotters. If you are in TK or points immediately north and south of there, Brighthaven is the place to go.

Time to Brighthaven from Thornkeep is about 25-30 minutes. Slot Water Domain as Goblin Shamans will be your main cause of damage and death.
If you come to Rotters Hole, expect PvP. If you are leaving a character logged in while not in attendance, unequip all of your gear. Commander Nefarious likes to drop by and kill AFK characters repeatedly.

After the stress test, Let's see if we CAN clear that Monster hex south of it
If folks want some stuff crafted for after the stress test, I can do it,
But I may need some resources to make them,
I'll be in Talonguard in a day, you'll need to place your order here and show up ASAP.
It'll be limited to T1 stuff, but I can make +X weapons and armour

Separate from the stress test, since we have a lot of people in the area, either before or after the test let's go kill Ustalavs. They're in the monster home hex (castle icon) 2 north of Rotter's.
When you die there, you rez in a different hex having lost two durability from everything equipped. That's a problem. I'm curious what happens mixing a lot of people and combat over there. Plus it should get us a lot of recipes the high end alpha crafters are looking for.
Anyone interested in that is before or after better for you? (No reason it can't be both, either)
P.S. there are level 21 NPCs there, and who doesn't want to see the fight where one of those goes down?

KarlBob starts painting "Nerf Long Bow! Buff Short Bow!" placards again, in preparation for the answer to this question. Then he remembers that it's still Alpha, and there are surely balancing passes to come once EE begins. He quietly puts down his pitchfork, snuffs his torch, and hides the placards under his bed, in case he needs them later.

Sspitfire, Hammar, and I took our 1,000 XP Characters there and were able to kill everything but the Legends (Level 21).
I'm fairly confident we can take down a legend with 6 1K characters. It will totally involve lots of long bow exploits, though, and Master of Opportunity: Suffer.
Nihimon and I killed a Legend with our mains using T2 gear last night. We, uh, may or may not have used a certain other exploit to do the deed (although, to be fair, there was also a LOT of ping-pong'ing the thing back and forth between the two of us).
