The resistance of the abjuration is granted to whatever is targeted, while fire elementals has the flames from polymorph protecting them.

If you're asking if energy resistances stack, no. You use the single greatest source applicable.

You could however get 20 points of fire resistance from wild shape and 10, 20 or 30 points of cold/electric/acid/sound resistance from resist energy.

If it stacked, the energy resistance of aasimars and tieflings would be far more powerful. But as the others said, it is a bit like wearing two kinds of armor. Only the highest one applies.
