Druid with a pinch of Brawler, season to taste

hey hey all, i wanted a bit of help with this build im trying to figure out, i'm not really looking for the omega awesome build but being good is good lol, right now im going 20 point but, and im looking at being human, but may change to another core race if needed, but stats so far are

stg:14
dex:14
con:14
int:10
wis:14
cha:10

thats before racial mods lol, but heres what im thinking, my plan is 4lvs of druid with the AC (wolf, i know not optimal but i like em lol) and grabing wild shape, and then at 5th lv multiclassing into brawler, i was thinking wild child, to save on a feet for boon companion, and taking shaping focus so i get 4lvs of brawler and increase to wild shape and my animal companion, a real solid melee druid, one question i came up with though, and i belive after serching the answer is yes but i'll ask anyway, can a wild shape druid use unarmed attacks? lol if so it makes the path pretty cool. but besides all that some good help would be awesome, its most likely for PFS so assume that for now lol

thanks y'all :D

i'm not real versed in druid characters, since i've never played one, and no one in my group IRL plays one....

- your 1st issue is that you can't multiclass with a hybrid (ACG class) unless it is 1 of the 2 parent classes. (so brawler is out, but look at any other base or core class, or archtype based on unarmed strikes.

- anyone can use unarmed attacks, but w/o feats it's usually not advised.

- are you really asking about natural attacks from your wild shape ability or are you trying to make same attack/damage bonuses and feats work while in both forms (natural and wild)?

that is not quite correct. page eight of the ACG lists no restrictions to multi classing. so you can do it. I'm not sure how it will work but it's an interesting idea.

You might want to consider other options Brawlers are currently lacking some of the support other classes have to offer.

Druids should be able to make unarmed strikes while in wild shape though you might want to check out the Feral Combat Training feat.

I find that grappling is a great style for Druids since they can get a +4 bonus on their CMB checks from the Grab ability. I guess tripping could work reasonably well too though you'll already have a wolf focusing on that. I'd consider having the wolf go for Spring Attack since it makes it very easy to get into flank. Add Outflank and a Menacing Amulet of Mighty Fists and you'd have a very nice flanking buddy.

hey everybody, thanks so far on the advice :D a couple things, so far i know brawler normally aint that great, my reason so far is a few reasons
1. Wild Child archetype: lets me also progress my animal companion without spending a feat

2. full bab bonus and added hitpoints

3. i love the idea of that flexible feat lol

4. i can still make unarmed strikes while wild shaped and at 4th brawler lv when i can become a huge animal or a large one the damage goes up a bit

5. it actually goes well with the wolf companion and a sort of dual trip build/ trip and other manuver build due to manuver training and with wild child giving my bonus to my Animal companion

so far from what i've read i havent seen a class that just looks more apealing, though i may be a bit off, lol right now im not caring so much about my spell progressiong i'll have a few buffs and thats just fine with me :3 but any advice on other options for a second class would be great ^^

so any tips on feats and such? i was thinking grabing the combat expertise feat and then once i start the brawler lvs i could pick up what i need on the fly lol one fight triping the other grappling or disarming lol, sounds fun and gives me alot of choices lol

I would recommend to have a list of feats that you can use, so it doesn't slow down gaming sessions on the table, when you use martial flexibility. There is a brawler guide, a good place to start for the choice of feats.

Beside that, not much else to say, get natural spell when you can on your druid side, like every druid and that's it.
