Purchasing Scrolls

I know you are restricted by fame and minimum caster level when getting or purchasing scrolls, but can you purchase higher level scrolls? say 6th level and higher? ( another question thats been on my mind ) Whats the rules for pathfinder society on that?

You will likely get better results asking this on a PFS specific forum. This forum is mostly for the general RAW rules. Some of us have no idea about PFS specific stuff.
I wish you the best of luck getting an answer, and who knows... Maybe you get lucky and one of the people on this forum also care about PFS and can answer it for you.

Anyone with the fame to afford the purchase can get scrolls of up to 6th level. Higher than that requires you to be a Seeker of the appropriate level.

Any Seeker with sufficient Fame and experience can purchase scrolls containing 7th-, 8th-, and 9th-level spells, following the price guidelines in the Core Rulebook. Access to these spells is restricted to scrolls and is not available for spell-casting services. Upon reaching 13th level, Seekers are eligible to select spells or purchase 7thlevel scrolls. Upon reaching 15th level, they are eligible to select spells or purchase 8th-level scrolls. Upon reaching 17th level, they are eligible to select spells or purchase 9th-level scrolls.

Ah thanks, so its just the level you need to be to purchase those scrolls then, Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it.

Wanted to add it is nice to get 5 copies of the same 2nd level spell on one scroll for two prestige. Or 2 copies of s third level school. Wands of those levels are prohibitively expensive but spending the prestige on the scrolls can make you very well prepared for do many contingentcies.

Just as an FYI:
Fame 5 opens purchase of 1st, 2nd & 3rd level scrolls.
Fame 9 opens 4th & 5th level scrolls
Fame 13 opens 6th level scrolls.

By the time you reach the levels needed for the higher level spells, your Fame should not be an issue.

Fame 5 is, typically, 2nd level.
Fame 9, given campaign guidelines, would be 3rd level; given previous campaign experience, it can be achieved during 2nd level.
Fame 13, given campaign guidelines, would be 4th level, but can be achieved at 3rd level.

Yeah, buying scrolls, past the earliest days of a PC, is seldom an issue.

The always available list includes the following (so you don't even need 5 fame to purchase them):

• Potions and oils of 0- or 1st-level spells at caster level 1st (50 gp or less)
• Scrolls of 0- or 1st-level spells at caster level 1 (50 gp or less)

And it wasn't part of the question, but just to iterate, ALL potions/scrolls purchased are considered to be at minimum required caster level to cast the given spell (unless found on a chronicle sheet specifically indicating a different CL). I just wanted to throw that out there since there was confusion on the underlying purchase availability.
