Advice

So I'm building a human hunter with the verminous hunter archetype. Going with a giant mantis companion with two int via eye for talent.
Undersized mount and the Ant Haul spell and I have a flying and climbing mount at first level. Wielding a lance goes well with the 10' reach of the mantis's claws. With Outflank and Pack Flanking my flying charge has a +7 bonus to attack by 4th lvl. I know I might loose the mantis attacks on a charge but going with a large lance is only a -2 attack bonus. A large impact lance will do 3d6 damage, 6d6 damage on a charge and 18d6 on a crit. After 7th lvl when my mount is large, I will reduce it for dungeons, and enlarge myself when I'm outdoors. When enlarged, I will be wielding a huge impacting lance. What does the 3d6 increase to and what would it's reach be?

Also, any suggestions?

Couple things-

First off, character build advice tends to go over a lot better in the Advice forum, as more people see it and they're very helpful with builds. Just tag it as for PFS and you'll get all the help you need. I've flagged the post to move it.

Second, a lance is a 2-handed weapon, and unfortunately large two-handed weapons are too big for medium characters to use. Even if it "can be wielded with one hand" while mounted, it's still classified as a two-handed weapon.

Thanks for the answer, and I'm new and still getting used to the site.

I don't know the answer to this one, but your build sounds very cool. I'm bumping this so that you can get more responses to your question.

Hmm
