Any pathfinder card group in Colorado?

Pathfinder Adventure Card Society

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I have looked around this site and unable to find any group who plays in Colorado. Obviously would prefer one in Northern Colorado and in Greeley. I have asked around here and haven't found one yet.

So hopefully other people will post and maybe we can get one started.

Thanks
Thomas

What about Digital Dungeon? Their listing says they carry the card game. Have you checked to see if they are interested in having organized play? You could offer to help organize it. They can get a free base set to try it out, so it is basically no cost to them to at least give it a shot.

And this is the VO for your area. Try getting in touch with them too.

Okay what is a VO? I am new so don't know all of the lingo.

Venture Officer, someone from the Pathfinder Society who should know something about organized play. I haven't played the Pathfinder rpg but it seems that people who are really into it are also fans of the card game.

Sadly the above referenced VO replied back and sadly doesn't know of any store in the area doing the card game.
And he only does the rpg game and not the card. And wasn't aware of a VO for the card version either in the area.

Based on looking at digital dungeon facebook page doesn't look good either. Just the usual games of Pokemon, magic, etc. yeah I know, those games get people in but some people don't have tons of money to play CCGs. Will call them tomorrow but doesn't look good based on the events already planned.

So any other suggestions? Definitely seems the card game is good but not going to put money down for a game that wont get played either. Was hoping the organized play would open up more places but that doesn't seem to be the case here in northern colorado.

The folks at The Wizard's Chest in Cherry Creek keep trying to get the card game running, but they simply can't get anyone at Paizo to answer their questions - the guy in charge of running gaming events there has sent off three questions and never gets answers.

Please PM me with the Wizards' Chest folks' contact info, and we'll see if we can get things rolling.

Hm. I'm not sure why I don't get notified when someone replies to me.

I have done so! Thank you.

Well I did check around and Haunted Game Cafe in Fort Collins run a PACG on Wednesday nights at 7 pm

Supposedly Digital Dungeon in Greeley will on Fridays but not yet. But when you can't even get a time for it to start (not when..a time like 7 pm), doesn't exactly give you a warm feeling.
