Hi there.
I have been a subscriber in the past and have taken advantage of your great sales as well. I wanted to order a whack of items form your current sale, but the shipping charges are more than double the order cost!
I don't remember it being this high before, but it HAS been awhile.
I am in Canada and I was wondering how the sipping is calculated/ if there are other options that are cheaper.

It may partially be because you keep bumping your thread. They tend to work from the bottom up, so every time you bump your thread, you push yourself to the top again (and the back of the line).
Sorry I also just bumped your thread, but I just thought it might be helpful to know.
Our shipping costs are based on weight and dimensions and what we actually pay for shipping. Our shipping options for international orders are USPS Priority and USPS Standard Post. Standard Post has a weight limit of 4 pounds per package.
That said it looks like the system is having a little trouble calculating the shipping on your's. Based on the current items in your shopping cart, it looks like this should be able to go into two standard post packages shipping at the cost of $17.97 and $18.97, for a total of $36.26.
I've got the order in kind of a weird order limbo, so if you want thing submitted that way, please let us know. Thanks!
