Well, in D2 they had the secret cow level, which was a response to the (false) rumor of the same level in the original game. So in D3, rather than go Hell Bovine again, as well as in response to complaints about game colors being too bright (apparently), they created Whimsyshire, complete with Happy Clouds, rainbows, green grass, sparkling blue water, and enemies such as Super Happy Sparkle Cake (a unicorn boss monster).

Although, I have come to the realization that I make a poor long-term friend. I tend to fall into a pattern of Out of Sight/Out of Mind, with regards to my acquaintances, basically failing to stay in touch if I don't have regular contact with them.
Sadly, even members of my own family are not immune to this failing. I very rarely talk to my three older brothers. Of course, that works both ways with them. For example, my older brother has been piss poor about returning phone calls (or even answering his phone) for years. Couple that with the fact he quit Facebook while I still lived in Philadelphia, and he was very surprised to find out I had moved to Houston.
It is possible that this behavior could harken back to some anti-social tendency on my part, possibly stemming from a general dislike/distrust of people.
I fully intend to try and rectify this behavior....someday.

You just keep on being the special undead snowflake you are AZ! ❄️
There is but one opinion that matters in regards to yourself: your own*
*Although people's general opinion of you can make a good yardstick for your actual level of douchiness.
Meh. I ain't special, or a snowflake. I'm just me. Although you are spot on in that the only opinion which truly matters to me is my own.

During a bit of channel surfing last night, I happened to check out TCM. Turns out, they were showing a marathon of Christopher Lee as Dracula movies (God bless Hammer Horror films). So I watched Dracula: Prince of Darkness and Dracula has Risen from the Grave. I also recorded Scars of Dracula and Dracula: A.D. 1972.
So much awesomeness!

In addition, as is typical these days while watching a movie, I scrolled through IMDB's Lee page and was reminded of a movie he did a part for back in 2013. It was an animated anthology of Poe stories called Extraordinary Tales. I have never seen it. I plan to rectify that via the wonders of Amazon Prime.

Correction via addition: I recorded three other movies, not two. The third was Taste the Blood of Dracula.

They think I'm crazy, but I know better. It is not I who am crazy! It is I who am MAD!
Didn't ya hear 'em? Didn't ya see the crowds? Oh, my beloved ice cram bar, how I love to lick you're creamy center, and your oh-so-nutty, chocolate covering. You're not like the others. You like the same things I do: wax paper, boiled football leather, dog's breath. We're not hitch hiking anymore, we're riding!

I may have mentioned this before, but after this current AP is over, I'm going to be cancelling my subscription. I just can't justify the money to myself anymore. I don't use any of the APs anymore. Hell, I haven't even bothered to read many of the more recent issues. I read through most of Mummy's Mask, hardly any of Iron Gods, and almost none of the two recent Cheliax APs.
Sometimes, the thought of cancelling makes me a bit sad. Other times, like this morning, not so much. Paizo has no one but themselves to blame for that.

This morning I found out that daycare's next Parent's Night Out is on 4 November. This presents me with a dilemma. I was going to go see Doctor Strange during the day, as a way to get out of the house for awhile and let the cleaning ladies do their thing without me around.
Now, however, I've got the opportunity to see it that night with the wife. Not sure if she would want to, though.

I did that after Kingmaker. They were all just collecting dust on the shelf.
I regret it now that I'm in PFS and using the APs in Campaign Mode. I miss my charter subscriber tag as well. But that's life.

At this point in my life, I just don't really see myself ever gaming again. I gave up a great group (probably the best I was ever a part of) when I moved from Philly, and don't really have much in the way of prospects to replace it. Most of the folks I know here already have their own groups, some of which have members I'm not overly fond of. If I'm going to game, I'd rather it be where I can call everyone a friend.
