Holy carp!
Got to work a little after 7:00 am, set to work on a bunch of stuff. Next thing I know….it’s lunchtime.
Not that I have much of a lunch. Toast, apple sauce, and saltine crackers.
Stoopid GI problems.
Later today will be my nephew's Eagle Court of Honor. A great achievement. We're all very proud of him.
Yesterday started off decent, went fairly well most of the day, then ended on a crappy note. Which is kind of the reverse of what’s become normal.
It’s sucks, but it’s what I’ve come to expect. A completely good day is an impossibility.
A mostly quiet and uneventful Sunday, followed by what I hope to be an equally quiet and uneventful Monday. At least the trash folk actually came. That surprised me.
I have a feeling today will suck balls more than usual. There have been several omens.
Well, I read the omens correctly. Yesterday did indeed suck balls. Yet some of my coworkers refused to believe me when I played the role of oracle.
Probably because I wasn’t in a cave in Delphi.
Yesterday was a VERY long day. 14+ hours of work, and not much sleep.
Thank the gods it’s Friday!
I think Frigidaire has got to be one of the crappiest appliance brands I’ve ever come across. I look forward to eventually replacing all the ones my house came with.
I haven’t been happy with my current GI specialist, so considered going with the other practice recommended by my primary’s office. Until, at least, I found out their wait time for an appointment is 3 months.
Damn, the healthcare industry is really going down the tubes.
I called one of my old Philly co-workers this morning, and actually managed to catch him in the office. Spent nearly an hour on the phone with him. That was nice.
Between that, feeling slightly adequate this morning, and none of the managers being in yet, this week is starting off well.
So now I just have to wait for the other shoe store to drop.
