Can I add the Furious weapon enchantment to an Amulet of mighty fists.

Rules Questions

I saw that there was another thread on this, but it also involved the spell magic fang. I don't feel there was really a conclusion. I play pathfinder society, and my character is currently lvl 8, Barbarian 2/Ranger 6. I stack natural attacks. I was wondering if there was a official ruling on whether or not I could add the furious weapon enchant to an amulet of mighty fists, as it would be wonderful for my character if I could.

Yes.

It's an enchantment than can be put on any melee weapon. That makes it legit for an AoMF

Alright, thank you. I just know that society can be sticky on rules.

The Concordance

It's ambiguous.

Amulet of Mighty Fists writes: "this amulet can grant melee weapon special abilities, so long as they can be applied to unarmed attacks."

Furious seems to enhance the weapon (unarmed strike), not apply to unarmed attacks.

However, as I know, no GM forbid applying Furious to Amulet of Mighty Fists for now.

unarmed attacks are not only attacks with the unarmed strike weapon, they can also include combat maneuvers (which are also attacks) made while unarmed.
And since some weapon special abilities are meant to enhances combat maneuvers it's fitting to use that term to include them as well.

also, nice Necro.

What do you think the enhancement bonus that Furious grants applies to?

What the "can be applied to unarmed attack" line checks is that the enchantment works for light, bludgeoning weapons that can't leave the hand. No need to overcomplicate things by latching onto Paizo's notorious inconsistency of seperating "unarmed strike" and "unarmed attack".
