So due to enough interest it for those who want a 4th PbP game, I will be running the general setting campaign from WotC designed for characters from level 1 to 30. So without further delay, here are the CC rules and guidelines I'll put down:
- 4d6 method for scores. Total the highest 3 of 4d6 for a score. If you roll less than what a 15 point buy would afford, you may re roll. If you roll more than what a 25 point buy would afford, you may have to re roll depending on the scores.
- Standard starting of 100 GP.
- I will pass up a min/max character if I can. Yes, this edition was built for the MMO style of play, but I will not run it MMO style.
- No 3PP material. I must be able to find what power or feat you're taking easily within either the DDI builder or books/Dungeon/Dragon.
- A back story would be helpful to have so that I can better plan each transition from tier to tier as your character goes along for your characters rather than just say "you now are in epic tier".
- Not a rule, but please provide me with a sheet from Myth Weavers. It makes looking over your character much easier for me on a whim.
As of now, I'll leave recruitment open for the next week or so, planning to start next Friday eveningish PST. This will of course depend on the amount of applicants and interest.

Should be okay Naldoc. It's really for the cases where someone would roll two 18's which is an automatic 32 point buy, and then wind up with 12's or lower for the rest of the rolls. You've got a couple good rolls with the 17's, and even as just a human, that 8 can turn into a 10 ensuring that you wouldn't have any negative modifiers. And as long as I can have a way to view it, that'll be fine.

I don't know yet, the site does not have clickable links, well they do, but some of them are reded out, but I don't have the books. I may have to borrow some books from my formed D&D 4th addition DM and see.
Melee character. I have to look over barbarian, fighter, paladin, swordmage, and warden. Encounter attacks I can't find, these are things reded out, only a few are in blue.

It will be an ap that I will be looking for story on. 4e could easily be home brew if you had the group for it, but because of it's mmo format and lack of willing 3.5 players to switch over, then it was pretty much taken over by so many people who played it as an mmo. At least in my experience, everyone I ever played it with treated it as a mmo, except for one and that's only cause my brother knows I enjoy story lol. Recruitment is still going. Just got a very slow start is all.

So, you're allowing all things 4E (just not 3PP)? If so, I would love to get to play a Minotaur. I love minotaurs.
Looking at Defender (seeing as there are already 2 strikers), but not sure which just yet. Pencil me in for Minotaur Fighter for right now, need to go to the wizards website and see what I can make.
EDIT: Regardless, it won't be one of the Essentials classes (I'm not a fan of the Essentials line).

I still have the rest of the day to decide what I want and get something. up. Also, is there free access to players handbook 2? If not, I'll just have to pick something from players handbook 1.
I'll be honest though I never created my own character for 4E, I've always had someone do it for me. I just told the leader the class and the race and he put together the stats, the feats and everything else. I had at least 3 different characters created at the table top, no one died, but I wanted a different character in one campaign we were doing, so I switched and we ran a side character. The only time I created a character on my own was by choosing feats and stuff once we level.
If someone wants they can just write me up an eladrin swordmage, or if they don't have access to it, eladrin paladin is fine.
Just leave the backstory to me, since I already know what where I want to go for it.

Shoso Makenzie is circus folk. Even at a young age she was a strange tiefling girl, but she didn't complain about her jobs, whether mucking the animal stalls or sweeping up. She was always in generally good spirits. The circus was home, and everyone there was the family.
What nobody recognized though was that she had a spark of magic, the type that'd have easily turned her into a Sorceror. It just seemed natural to her to play around with it, never thinking it could be anything more. Her untrained ability came into play as she started predicting the future, and rapidly became fascinated with the idea of fate and luck.
There was no huge problem at the circus that she ran from, no shunning for her strange powers as the goofy girl decided one day that maybe just singing songs and making sparkly colors weren't quite enough for her. In fact, barely anyone noticed two days hence, as life on the road is very hectic and demanding.
Currently she sells fortunes, whether real or not, to those who will listen, and she is quite skilled at baldfaced lies, even if she can't read someone for anything. Her goals are simple, to explore the world, to test the boundaries of fate and maybe find out what life has in store for her.
Shoso does have some good stats, but note that her high stat isn't in CHA, she doesn't even have Diplomacy or Insight trained! I fully expect her to try to impress someone more with her acrobatics than actually trying to explain her side of things. Also, I know she's a goofy bard, but I'm not planning on breaking the fourth wall or anything. As funny as that may be, its not fitting for how this game is shaping up.
Also, when I can buy a cask of unending ale, is it possible I could get the same as an everfull glass of liquor? I love the idea of her fighting with a drink in hand.

Crap, guys sorry to do this, but it turns out that I'm honestly not going to be able to run this game cause I really don't have the time to invest into it to actually make it enjoyable for you guys. After my game tonight with my Roll20 group, they're going through things a lot faster than I anticipated and am now having to prep even more in the time I have, so this game is gonna have to be postponed to a point in time that I honestly have no clue if I actually will have time to efficiently run it.
