Hey all,
I'm preparing for an adventure and I need to create an NPC Leng Ghoul Weapon Master (2 racial HD and 7 levels). I want to make him aristocratic, but also alien (undead from the plane of nightmares). I figure giving him an unusual/iconic weapon might be a good way of reinforcing that, but there are so many choices out there I can't narrow it down. Anyone have any suggestions?

The spiked chain or scorpion whip wouldn't be bad - or the quadrens, a nasty 4-bladed dagger that leaves bleed damage behind on every critical hit. Truth be told, tridents can also be kind of weird-feeling, and are seldom used from what I can tell - give him a specimen with the returning enchantment, and whoever fights him will kind of get the feeling they're something like spaghetti on his fork....
3.5's Complete Divine mentioned Tharizdun, an "insane primordial end of everything deity who'll destroy Everything if It ever escapes from Its prison," and listed something called the "check toee" as his favored weapon. How's that sound? ^_*
Rhoka is kind of a go to evil weapon for me. Tetsuba says something special too.
I second the Rhoka sword. Also the Urumi is an interesting one. Look over the list of monk weapons and performance weapons too.
If this is for a home game you can always take the mechanics of an existing weapon and "re-skin" it. Make it look weird but it still has the same stats as a similar "normal" weapon.
