Are there any classes, archetypes, prestige classes, items or any other ways to temporarily boost the caster level of a magic item? I'm thinking of building a character for PFS that uses a gold bag of wands and other magic items, but since everything is at minimum CL for PFS unless it's on a chronicle, I'm wondering if there's another way to boost them.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm guessing it's not legal. A way to apply metamagic feats would also work.
Something that works with Wands would be great, but also something that works with Spell-like Abilities granted by items.
One item I'm thinking of specifically is the Quarterstaff of Entwined Serpents, which gives the wielder the ability to cast Magic Missile at will. It's great on its own up until a point, but at higher levels 2d4+2 is pretty unimpressive.
There's also the Cloak of the Hedge Wizard.
Would metamagic rods/gems work with those?
It's probably too much to hold out hope Arcanist will end up with something along these lines.
EDIT: I found the FAQ on Metamagic Feats and Spell-like Abilities. It's not allowed. That makes sense. Oh well. Back to the drawing board.
