Sneak Attack limits?

Rules Questions

Is there a limit on the number of times in 1 round that you can sneak attack an opponent?

Depends on the circumstances, but usually no, you can sneak attack with as many attacks as you have that meet the rule requirements

Can you be more specific to what you mean, an example of your circumstance?

So long as each attack occurs within circumstances that would grant you sneak attack, then there is no limit.

For instance, if you are flanking an opponent, you can sneak attack for as many attacks as you make, including things like an attack of opportunity. If a target is flatfooted because it has not yet acted, same thing.

If its because you are in stealth, or invisible, then likely the first attack breaks that (its hard to attack and then hide via sniping and unless its improved invisibility, attacking breaks invisibility), in which case you only get a single sneak attack.

Also, as explained in the FAQ, spells such as Scorching Ray, that fire off multiple times with one casting, only benefit from Sneak Attack once.

As the others have said, the answer really depends on your circumstances.

It really does depend on your circumstances, but reading Kolokotroni's and Nefreet's posts should give you a fairly good idea about when it will apply to all attacks and when it wont.

If you have a specific scenario you are curious about we can break it down further.

I guess the limit is how many attacks you can do in one round. Iterative, AoO etc.etc.

It was a question based on how many attacks I had in a round and if I also got it on AoO's and such. Assuming of course that the opponent was still considered Flat-footed or Denied his Dex bonus etc...
